The environment:
– PHP: 8.2 (ea-php82)
– WordPress 6.7.1 with Customify theme
– WP and plugins are up to date
– The app is on Android Xiaomi Hyper OS
What I’ve tried based upon suggestions I’ve found in this theme:
The plugin wrote on the link unfortunately doesn’t do anything.
However, I found xmlrpc.php in the file browser on the hosting, so I tried in manual mode.
1st try with the solution written on the link:
Based on xmlrpc.php I’ve created a copy called xmlrpc2.php.
I got a little help with whis: “you might want to check if it works correctly after the renaming by typing (https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php) into the browser’s address bar, and you should get the same result as you see now when typing https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc.php: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”
So in the browser the result is: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only
.
I set https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php
in the app, unfortunately the result is still IP ban.
2dn try:
In the xmlrpc2.php file I replaced all xmlrpc.php strings with xmlrpc2.php and updated the file on the server.
In the browser the result is: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only
.
I set https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php
in the app, unfortunately the result is still IP ban.
3rd try:
While searching, I came across a page where this file can be validated https://xmlrpc.blog/https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc.php
→ Congratulations! Your site passed the first check.
You can add the blog within the mobile app using the following URL: https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc.phphttps://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php
→ Congratulations! Your site passed the first check.
You can add the blog within the mobile app using the following URL: https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php/xmlrpc.php
This is interesting because it does not write only xmlrpc2.php.
Despite this, I tried all three ways, but unfortunately the result is the same, IP ban.
https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc.php
https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php
https://barangolasok.hu/xmlrpc2.php/xmlrpc.php
4th try:
Renamed xmlrpc.php to xmlrpc.old on the server so that only xmlrpc2.php remains, but the page doesn’t work at all.
I am a simple user, I don’t know too much about WP.
I welcome any suggestions, thank you
Your plugin is very practical, we’ve just discovered it. Unfortunately we had another plugin that offered us more statistics, like the ability to see sales statistics over a custom?e date range, this allows comparisons with past years.
On the Android widget, we could also see the total sum of sales rather than the number of sales first. We also had notifications when the order status changed.
Are you planning any improvements in this direction?
Thank you in advance for your consideration, these are the only points we would see that would make your application perfect!

]]>I’m using the word press iOS app, trying to add a site to it.
It says, is not a word press site, for us to connect it must be a valid word press site.
Is there any reason why I can’t connect?
thanks
]]>There is any help or any other facing same problem
]]>Same account works fine on the web.
Reset the password but same problem.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it’s not working.
Where can I start to check what’s wrong?
]]>“Couldn’t connect to the WordPress site. There is no valid WordPress site at this address. Check the site address (URL) you entered.”
I have been trying to decipher the root cause of this problem, but haven’t been able to identify it yet.
Note: I am using iPhone 14 Pro with iOS v17.2.1 and the WordPress is also updated to v. 6.4.2.
My hosting is registered with Namecheap and the domain on GoDaddy.
If it’s because of XML-RPC, I would like to know how can I enable/disable the same option via .htaccess file or through my WordPress dashboard?
Earlier, I was able to manage it conveniently using the Yoast plugin, but now I am unable to find the option anywhere.
Requesting the experts for their inputs. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Manu Mathur
The app says “Can’t log into the website cause it’s not a wordpress address “.
This is based on www.remarpro.com, so I have no idea what’s wrong.
I was wondering is there a functional APP for WordPress Woocommerce for admin to upload products etc in Woocommerce.
I have a client who has issues making changes to their Woocommerce store via their 14″ tablet via normal website browser (the wp-admin area), so was wondering whether the WordPress Woocomerce APP is better than what it used to be, so clients on the go can upload their products easier and make changes via the App rather than through the browser.
My client is getting frustrated that he cannot update his website easy via the website wp-admin in the browser and he doesn’t use a computer at all, only a 14″ tablet.
If someone has some better ideas on HOW my client can upload his products easier and make changes to the website pages.
I did try the app last year but didn’t really function very well.
Thanks

]]>I had a look at this app on your site,
https://woocommerce.com/mobile/
https://woocommerce.com/document/jetpack-setup-instructions-for-the-woocommerce-mobile-app/
My client is needing a way to add/edit products from his Ipad/Tablet easily.
We tried going into standard Google Chrome, and logging into backend of WOrdpress via domainname.com.au/wp-admin which logged in no issues.
BUT it was very laggy on the Ipad/Tablet/MObile compared to desktop versions for some reason. Desktop is working NO issues in backend of WordPress, but Ipad/Tablet is very slow which I didn’t expect.
Logging in this way is frustrating my client and myself. I have to find another solution for client to be able to add/edit products & pages via his 13″ IPAD easily. He doesn’t have another device so I have to work out a solution for him.
I have looked at this Woocommerce App link above to see if this is an option.
And it may work, but I’m not understanding how JEtpack integrates ?
And also I assume there will be a fee with Jetpack being involved (it says free version to start with… )
And can we edit standard WordPress pages in here also or Just Woocommerce products ?
Are there any known issues with this app ?
OR is it safe to use with my client site ?
or if someone has other suggestions for Ipad/Tablet/Mobile for client to ADD/EDIT products would be great.
Thanks
Kristin
