Developer gone AWOL; no access to the backend of my site

My developer never provided me with a username or password to access the backend of my wordpress site, which now needs updating. I’m not able to reach him to gain access or have him make the changes, and without a live chat for www.remarpro.com, I’m at a loss as to how I can gain access to my site. Please help!

Can’t access my WordPress Admin dashboard even after password reset

Hi,

Really hoping someone can assist but for some reason I can no longer access my WordPress Admin dashboard using my original username/password. Even going through the “Lost Password” process, clicking on the password reset link within the email and changing the password, still display an “Incorrect username/password” even though I am using the correct username and new password.

Through my hosting provider, I manage to access the WordPress Admin dashboard from a cPanel WordPress Software Manager app they provide.

Once in their, I attempted to change the password again from within the WordPress Admin dashboard and I still couldn’t access the WordPress dashboard using the username with new password.

Not sure if something is corrupted on the WordPress side as I pretty much have no idea why I can’t access my dashboard?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,

I installed “WP Super Minify” in order to improve page speed… Unfortunately it directly engendered a major problem : my website is not displaying anymore and i have a “fatal error”. I cannot access the admin of WordPress in order to delete the plugin. could you please help me fix this ? Thanks a lot for your precious help !!

“fatal Error” for the umteenth time? Please help

So, I’ve ‘nuked’ my site several times because of a previous “fatal error” but now I can’t even access my site to make a copy before I start over again. I can log in but it says fatal error. Is this common?
How often should I expect the website to die per year?
Do i need to use a different type of app to access it regularly? Are there conflicting things that cause this? Upgrades?
Anything would be so much help! I’m just tired of starting over and over again

Hopefully any one can help my problem. I already submit this one in WordPress.com support forum.

Previously i was create a self hosting site in www.remarpro.com (https://syarifudin.id) connected to my other site WordPress.com https://idnations.wordpress.com.

Then i remove my WordPress.com hosting site, today i tried to manage my self hosting site by entering https://syarifudin.id/wp-admin but it always redirected to WordPress.com site with notification:

idnations.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this site.

How can i access my self hosting site administrator?

Hi,

I am using your awesome plugin but I have a trouble with wordpress access.

It only loads and displays the posts when I am logged as admin of wordpress.

The guest role displays the following alert: “Access Denied. Your site administrator has blocked your access to the WordPress back-office” on the plugin div.

I am testing the web on localhost integrate with buddypress, classipress and the last version of wordpress.

What may be the problem? I hope find a solution because I don’t want to miss this plugin.

Bizarre problem not contained to a title

I have NO CLUE where to take this problem.
A non-profit I volunteer with owns their domain name.
I had someone create the website a few years ago. It is a www.remarpro.com address. He hosted it and all I had to do was log in my username and password and I updated the website. That’s all my knowledge of the behind-the-scenes.
This person has since cut ties and has likely stopped paying for or hosting the site.
This person is not able to be contacted… professional, right?!?
My problem: How do I gain access to the wordpress account that I have maintained for years (despite not “hosting” it) or if I create another wordpress (I’ve done small blog stuff on the .com site, that I guess I could trudge through to figure out), but how do I connect the domain name to that one?
I’m just so confused on what to do.
