The reason is because WordPress (from version 4.4) adds the attribute rel

in the new uploaded images, and each image has its own rel [See screenshot: https://take.ms/dtvtN]. But the plugin needs the rel attribute to be the same for all the images that you want to navigate between them. Or it can also work if the rel attribute does not exist at all.
For previous posts, which their images does not have the rel attribute, it works [See screencast: https://take.ms/To7uB].
We have various WordPress installations, in which we are using this plugin, and we have added a lot of posts with images that have the attribute rel (added by WP automatically) and thus the navigation is not shown on these images. It’s not easy to go to all posts and remove this attribute from all images. So, can you please fix this issue from your side??

I am helping a friend of mine update his website and have been running into a problem I can’t seem to resolve. The website is here. I am trying to add images to the Gallery slider on the front page (above the posts, which begins with the “2015 SIFF CATALOGUE AND PROGRAM” image), but cannot seem to add any images to the appropriate gallery page. It appears to be blank when I open it up in the gallery editor, and if I try to upload an image nothing happens.
I suspect this has to do with permissions in WP 4.4, because I was able to follow this process with no issue this summer, but now when I try to navigate to the “Media-Tags” editor I am met with the message “You are not allowed to manage these items.” All of the images that I was able to get onto the slider several months ago have the proper gallery tags, which I can see/confirm in the media library, but I am not able to change the tags for newly uploaded images. Is this why the gallery page is not working?
I am running WP 4.4.2; the theme is Rework. The only plugins installed are Yoast SEO (+Google Analytics by Yoast), WPML String Translation, WPML Multilingual CMS, Fast & Easy Social Sharing, and Convert WP Database to UTF-8. The website was built by a Greek company I have no way of being able to contact, so I wanted to see if there was a simple fix for a WordPress novice before trying something drastic like downgrading to WP 4.3.x etc. etc.
Thanks so much!

I am trying to make a custom template for the posts (blog) page, but i have this weird problem. Whenever i assign a page to be posts page the dropdown template option is missing from the template attributes box. I have 3 existing templates and they can be assigned to any other page except the selected posts page.
Another thing i noticed is when i assign another page to be my posts page it too loses the template dropdown, until i log out and log back in. Then the previously assigned page gets the option back.
I am using a slightly modified version of the twenty fourteen theme with wordpress 4.4.
I tried switching to another theme and disabling all the plugins, still have the same problem.
Any advice on where to search?
Thanks
The site no longer has visual editor or the toolbar. I’m not certain how long it’s been going on since I just migrated from a development server to the live server. I did have trouble during migration and the database seems to be randomly affected (forms exist once the plugin was reactivated, but add-ons for salesforce are missing).
The live server is Windows and uses php 5.6.14. I’m not sure how to debug so any help is greatly appreciated.
