So either need to downgrade PowerPress down from 6 OR upgrade to wordpress 4.1

I’m running wordpress 3.4.2 and I wanted to congratulate you for this great plugin you made. Congratulations!
This is really what I need to avoid carriage returns my mails to users.
In this regard, I have a concern because cerification url does not work (yes again !):

I have found that I only have the database backed up from my pre-wp 3.5 upgrade. I need to revert back to WP 3.4.2 because my theme is not working with the upgrade. If I upload my old database file to my site using cpanel, will it revert my wordpress version to 3.4.2?

I dont’ care if all my recent changes show up, just that my template works.

Failed to Connect to FTP Server

I’ve recently installed 3.4.2 to my website and keep getting asked for FTP connection info when I want to update a plugin or add a theme or a widget. I put my FTP details in and keep getting this error:

Failed to Connect to FTP Server (IP address:port)

I’ve checked and rechecked the details and even changed them to see if i can get it to work – nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled WP – nothing. Check with my hosting service and the FTP server is working fine – confirmed this by using Filezilla…

I noticed there was something similar come up with this in an older version of WP (?2.5) so it’s obviously not an unknown problem.

Can anybody help?!?!

I have updated the WordPress to the lates version (3.4.2) and it has become a nightmare.

1) Very nice panel in “visual” (not html) which existed in previous versions version has gone and I can’t find it

2) The text in visual versions cannot be seen. Thus, I can’t edit anything – and it’s a nightmare than you try to enter mediafile

3) All the comments in my site (pavelshkapenko.ru) have disappeared. Moreover, even than you try posting new ones they are still not shown on the site.

It’s a real nightmare, so I would thank everyone who could be to solve any of these 3 problems.

I’ve been using subscribe2 on every site I build, but for some reason, we can’t get it to work on this one: https://www.lewisvillelaser.com, can someone please tell me if there is a setting inside that is incorrect or if there is another reason why it’s not sending email notifications when we ‘post’ to the blog page OR manually send out an email from within to confirmed subscribers? This is a bit frustrating, but I’m sure it’s something simple.. thanks for any help!
