Uploading Images

Hello,

I am trying to upload an image into my blog post and when I press upload it states the following message

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/wightblg/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/06

I have been using WordPress 2.9.1 for the last few months and have had no problems uploading images until now.

Does anyone know how I fix this??

I’ve uploaded two themes to my FTP and that part is done correctly. But when I do to wordpress I’m unable to add a new them. There’s not even a button to add them. I am using 2.9.2 version, i’ve been trying my hardest to figure this out for 3 days. Any clue anyone.

Hi All,

I have to install wordpress (One Blog, one domain, for e.g. mycompany.com/blog) on two servers sharing one database on a different server, these two servers are behind a loadbalancer and the db would be on another server. We are planning this way due to high traffic.

I have done standalone wordpress installations on a single server, on windows 2003, 2008 with IIS6, 7 etc

I am just researching as to how would I implement this.

What would be the steps to achieve this and upon searching I saw some posts regarding the wp-content/uploads directory to be synced at regular intervals ?

WordPress 2.9.1 Errors – Screenshots Attached

Hi,

I’ve just tried installing wordpress 2.9.1 and get some strange errors. I’ve tried installing it on two different hosts and have re-downloaded wordpress three times (including 2.9.0), but it still doesn’t work as should.

The post editor is a mess, the text is white on a white background and there is no TinyMCE. I can also not swap to HTML view. Then on the themes page, I get a bunch of errors, even though the default theme files are uploaded.

Having trouble running Studiopress theme in sub-folder

I am trying to create separate sub sites from my main site. I have created a separate folder in httpdocs and installed WordPress 2.9.1 and Studiopress Streamline theme 3.0. The site pulls up as another Streamline theme site but when you click on any link you get re-directed back to the main site? Pics don’t show up after upgrading to wordpress 2.9.1

Hi,

Most part of the images of my posts before december are gone since I upgraded to WordPress 2.9.1 on Monday. Only my post of december and january get all images properly displayed.

I tried out
– to restore the database
– upload thru ftp the whole uploads file containing the images.

Nothing worked.

Even the media page displays ? instead of thumbnails.

Does anyone know how to fix it without manually delete the fake thumbnails and upload and place more than 500 images once more?

Installed wordpress 2.9.1 now nothing shows up

I just installed wordpress 2.9.1 now when I go to my website nothing shows up. Even when I go to /wp-admin nothing shows up. I checked to make sure I still had all my files on the server and I still do. Does any one know what is happening?

Since uploading the newest WordPress, plug ins I have been running for ages don’t want to work, and instead the code used to call them into my pages is shown. Please see links:
