Hey everyone. I’m not a coder so kindly bear with me on this silly question. I’m using a theme called WooTube which has custom fields for thumbnails and video embed codes. And I have a plugin that Auto grabs videos from tube sites based on keywords and creates posts regularly.

Both are working just fine but my problem is with the thumbnails. My plugin creates a thumbnail which it uses in the beginning of every post. How can I make my theme automatically grab this image for use in its custom field so the thumbnails show on the homepage?

Should I create a separate blog and import it?

Hi everybody,
I’m using the theme WooTube (demo here) to showcase an ongoing series fo videos, it creates thumbnails for each video post and looks great.

However, I would like to include a blog within my site and I am unsure the best way to do this. My thoughts so far are:
-If I use the theme’s standard posts system and file all blog posts under a ‘blog’ category, I don’t think I can show a blog index page that isn’t just thumbnails (would be good to have excerpts).
-If I use a separate platform for my blog and keep them separate, what is the best way to do this – Set it up in WordPress.com, or WordPress self-hosted under a subdomain or on a site like Posterous?

SEO is a priority and so is having all the standard blog features like tags and categories.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Help with a theme images not showing up in wootube

Tried contacting woothemes, no result yet so i’m turning to the community at wordpress. I changed my wootube theme preferences to show multiple posts on the home screen instead of the most recent post. Unfortunately the thumbnails I attached for each entry does not show up in the video box. I was hoping that someone could educate me in what I should be looking for to fix this issue. Thank you greatly in advance.
