My VPS server has been spiking CPU and Memory – this started about 9/13/2024 – and I suspect around when I updated to Woocommerce 9.3.1 . I have been digging high and low looking for an issue – I suspect it is a bad plug-in or old database table but cannot pinpoint. Review logs this one comes when I am access my wp-admin for the site with woocommerce.

Need a way to view the Menu on open differently as its a huge menu with sub cate

My client site has a main menu using your plugin. It is fine on all devices, except now on the mobile.

Have it centered on mobile Header.

Still looks OK on mobile BUT as we have Main Categories & MANY Sub Categories, when we open a Category it obviously opens up ALL the Sub Categories which may be 20-40.

Example for MENU:

HOME
MY ACCOUNT
PROMOTIONS – button
BRANDS – button
Adina
Airwick
and 20 more down list
CATEGORIES – button for drop down
Accessories – then it shows sub categories of this also
Beauty – then it shows sub categories of this also
Cosmetics – then it shows sub categories of this also
Hair Products – then it shows sub categories of this also
Men
Women

Previously we used to use a Mobile Plugin WP Touch, which I have now stopped using as its not compatible with latest WordPress version.

Never really had a problem with that plugin, and it was great how it opened the menu to the side and you could still partly see the site and the height of the menu stayed CONSTANT.

Therefore I have coded the website with STorefront to view properly on mobile now.

BUT the only issue left is the MOBILE MENU.

With WP Touch, it opened the menu to the left side so you could see menu items and categories and sub categories and you could partly see the website.

Now as I’ve got the menu in the middle of header and USING your Mega Menu which I wasn’t using on the mobile previously, HOW can I get your Mega MENU to display OR open on the side like some websites do OR have it working in middle is fine but NOT to open so large down the page when scrolling and scrolling to bottom of mobile page … doesn’t look good like that.

Is there a way to have the MENU when opening into sub categories to show MAX height then customer can scroll rest of menu from there within it. So you are not actually scrolling to the bottom of the mobile each time to view all sub categories but it has a scroll on it within the menu sub category?

Hopefully you know what I mean?

I do have something like that setup in my client website for the sidebar but that is not with Mega Menu.

So I’m hoping you have a workaround

I think the client prefers this as currently she is complaining that the menu is like a big long snake (as its has heaps of sub categories when you open up) and you scroll and scroll to see them but then you cannot see the website at all as menu is covering the whole thing whilst scrolling.

HOW can I do this differently on mobile with Mega MENU to display when opening?

Are there some options please?

As I need a workaround for my client urgently.

I have a client that has MENU like this:

BRANDS Drop Down Accordian

In here we have over 30 Brands on each line.

When we OPEN the BRANDS section and click on 1 Brand, then the Menu CLOSES .. We don’t want that, that is a pain. It needs to stay OPEN, and then we ALSO need the option to SCROLL down with a scroll bar on the right side, as we have over 30 Brands, the Accordian opens up too far down the screen like a snake, therefore we would PREFER to have the Sub Menu shown at certain height, and then an AUTO scrollbar can be seen on the right to continue down.

I have this set up in another section of client site BUT it is NOT working in the Wholesale area and I cannot remember HOW we set this up with your plugin years ago.

Then I have other Categories underneath.
CANDLES
ELECTRICAL
FURNITURE
etc

I have Customer side for login and Wholesale side for Login.
It works NO issues on Customer side non wholesale.
But for the life of me, cannot remember HOW I did it last time.

If someone could help that would be great.

woocommerce menu+ add to car problem

Hi all, i have problem whit woocommerce menu, dropdown menu opens fine, but it covers other menus that i can see through my dropdown. when i try to click something from dropdown i selected, it jumps to those menus that i can see trought my dropdown. So i′m not able to select anything from my menus because it just jumps menu to another… i dont know how to type code or css. i have used elementor and drag and drop for creating site.

Also my add to cart button doesnt add to cart, it redirects directyly to another site ( my site has only external products)

showing incorrect breadcrumb when menu is chosen for product

Woocommerce is all of a sudden showing incorrect breadcrumb when a Sub Category is chosen from the main menu (top menu).

WOoocmmerce & WordPress is at latest version.
Client site is not yet live luckily.
Issue just started.

Breadcrumb keeps defaulting to the latest product that is added in the backend. Never seen this happen before, very strange.

Example, I choose WOMENS / T-SHIRTS from the top menu
and on the breadcrumb says “HOME / MENS / TROUSERS”
NO RESULTS FOUND

Top permalink says domainname.com.au/collections/womens/t-shirts

Never seen this happen before.

If someone could help would be great as to what the issue could be.

I’m building an eshop, and i’m looking for the best mobile/laptop menu, but got some issue to set it up as i want…

1/ TOP MENU :
– Laptop screen : suiting well,
– Mobile menu : i can’t make appear the woocommerce basket into the menu… How do you set it up ?

2/ MEDIUM MENU :
– Mobile mobile : i like it, the woocommerce basket is there.
– Laptop screen : the issue is that i would like to have the logo centered,

I like both the 1st or 2nd menu, but can you please help me to arrange my issue… Thank you in advance,

Menu issue

I had an issue the other day that I haven’t come across on a client site.

Client is using Woocommerce. We had updated in the Products/Category area (added additional text so that it appears underneath the main Category Header) and is displayed on relevant Category page. You have no issues seeing the relevant information on the Category page.

But after I had added that Category MENU item to the Main Menu, then for some reason the Description appeared underneath the Main Heading in the Menu area which has never happened before. So then I had to delete the Menu item and create a “Custom Link’ instead of using the standard “Product Categories” link in the Menu area on the left hand side.

What would be causing this ? As I already have other menu items with Category descriptions that have never displayed on the Top menu before and this is the first time it has happened. A client then picked up on the display issue.

Using Mega Menu.

Could someone offer advice on what would have caused this ? Possibly latest version of Woocommerce or WordPress causing this ?
