Use only for search, no link preview

I like the plugin for searching a word and get the right url, but don’t want to use the preview function. It wasn’t running smooth on my website for several reason (for example night mode). I tried to fix all problems, but after severals hours I stopped because fixing was getting harder and harder. However, the preview isn’t really a must have…

Therefore my question. Would it be possible as feature request with that plugin or know someone a similar function as (Windows) App or website?

The best would be, if such function would be available at the Dashboard or like the plugin during creation of a link (best Classic Editor or Gutenberg Editor) without any further function on the website.

Hi. It would be great that besides email, website URL and lots of social media URL, we could have a Wikipedia URL for those authors who have one at user’s profile contact info section in the dashboard. For example, at our magazine https://www.15-15-15.org we are honoured that some of our authors do have a Wikipedia page and it would be a great addition, beside personal website URL, to be shown at author’s page and author boxes at the bottom of their posts.

Could we see it in included in next WordPress update?

I’d like to be able to embed a wikipedia page in my website.

I know this is possible as I’ve seen it elsewhere, but despite searching here and google I can’t figure it out.

There is/was once a plugin for this but it was last updated 8, yep eight, years ago LOL

Let’s say for example I wanted to embed this page:

If you use a page builder like the one by SiteOrigin, you can’t erase or edit broken links with this plugin.

Public revision without login like Wikipedia?

Hello guys,

I am searching desperately for a plug-in that allows a not logged in user to star a revision of a post in public front end, just like Wikipedia.

For me this is absolutely crucial as the changes to posts will be very minor and I don’t think anyone would register for that.

As I understand your plugin is only for logged in users, but could you develop an option with shortcodes that allows for editing and sending in a revised post with the same structure your plugin does it?

Adding words dropdown in blogs (like wikipedia)

Hey there, I want to add a word-drop down in my blogs like Wikipedia.

Functionality:

When a user shower on the highlighted text A drop-down appears (like Wikipedia) containing information about that word (which will I enter). and a picture (if I added one).
And when the user clicks on that highlighted text it follows the link which I entered.

I am looking for a plugin that can AUTOMATICALLY pull content and populate my term pages with wikipedia content and/or show wikipedia content on the tooltip popup.
Questions:
1. Wikipedia support is only available in the ecommerce edition, correct?
2. How or when does the plugin pull content from wikipedia? I mean does it in real time every time the page is loaded (which would affect speed of page load) or does it populate its database with wikipedia content when the term is added to the plugin? In latter case, how often does it refresh content by pulling latest version from wikipedia?
