Not good at adapting body width on different devices

Mobile version does NOT adapt to the device screen width. There is no way to implement a per device body width (e.g. desktop, phone). I tried several universal themes and they all have the same problem. Classic themes like “Penscratch 2” have a superior way to implement the body width for desktop and for phone. I guess that Automattic should add an option in the theme editor to select the correct body width based on the device where the theme will be displayed.

Hello, I’m aware that this is probably something that I need to override with additional CSS. But I have used inspect elements and am unable to identify which parts I need to override in order to get my post to show max width on the full page. The posts on this theme looks fine and full page on the block editor and on mobile, but on desktop it is so small. Does anyone have a fix? I am doing my portfolio and would like it as big as possible on the page. Thanks!

Header and Container issue

I need some help. I can’t get along with the theme and Elementor. Both not in the pro version.
It’s a private project and the friend doesn’t want to spend money on it.

i can’t get the header to appear on the home page, it should look like the other pages. Where do I switch on the header for the start page?
why are the purple containers on the start page on full page width and not on all other pages???? I would like to have them everywhere on full page width.

I’m using the Cafè Elementor for a coffee shop ecommerce. I would like to know if it is possibile to change the lenght of the titles, because actually, they are cutted up at 20 characters. After that, a three points suspension…

I would like to have the possibility to see more of the title, even reducing the size.

I tried to do some changes via CSS, but with non results.

Submenu wrap text issue

My submenu across my pages is displaying differently. The “organizational services” item keeps wrapping funny… usually in the middle of the word organizational instead of at the space. I’ve noticed the issue occurring on the front page and the “individual services” pages. I’m not sure how to correct this. I’m new to this and don’t know CSS.

Hi, I have an issue with the google/apple buttons’ width. In the article https://developer.woocommerce.com/docs/user-experience-guidelines-payment-button-size-and-anatomy/ I shown that this buttons can be small, but when I set small width to have 3 buttons in a row, the google pay button is not shown.

When viewing my calendar in any mode other than desktop, the date and title of the event run together. There is no way to separate them into two lines even though they are two different settings with different font sizes and colors. Why is this and how can it be corrected?

Second, would you please make the general calendar width option capable of being set in % as well as or instead of pixels so that it resizes for different size browser windows (and thus becomes responsive)? If I set mine small enough for a sidebar in a larger browser window, it has too much space around it in a smaller laptop browser window.

mega menu dropdown width & padding changes every other hover/click

This is an issue that I see happening across multiple sites I manage that use the Divi theme.

What’s happening is if you hover over a mega menu, the width & padding are showing properly. If you hover off of that menu and back onto it again, the width changes and the padding is missing. This continues to toggle each time you hover over the menu.

In the Mega Menu settings, I have the Outer width set as ‘body’ and the Inner width set as ‘.et_pb_row_1_tb_header’. I need the inner width to be the same width as that row in the header/navigation.

What is happening here? How can I resolve? Should I be doing something differently? Should I just force the width with CSS?

iFram embed too narrow

Hi there,
Every time I try and embed a form, it always appears very narrow, like how it would appear on a mobile device (I’m viewing on a desktop). Changing the width in the settings doesn’t change the appearance at all. Appreciate some help. Thank you.

Page width stretched by a long line of code

Hello SyntaxHighlighter Evolved Support,

I’m currently on 3.7.0 version of the plugin with WordPress 6.5. If one of the code lines displayed in the plugin is very long, then the page is stretched very wide as well. how can I address that?

As an example, here’s a good page (without the syntax highlighter evolved plugin):
