Widgets Page Change/Blank

Hello, we are trying to edit our widgets as we normally would but I guess there was an update to this page. I have deactivated all plugins and even tried a different twenties theme to no avail. The page just comes up blank no matter what. How we we get this back to normal so we can make edits? This seems to be on nearly all of my websites with GP. Thanks!

Widgets is Blanked Out!

I just recently updated WordPress, themes, and some plugins. Now the Widgets are completely gone! The whole page on the back end is blank! Wth? I even deactivated all plugins, one at a time, to see if that was the issue, and nope! Can someome please help?

Available widgets and Add button missing in widgets page

In Appearance>widgets page, the available widgets and the option/button to add widgets to the sidebars and footers are missing. Also there is a error Notice about undefined property in wp admin includes.php line …I recently switched theme from Sydney to Neve. I request someone to help, and thanks for the same.

I have EazyAzon Version 4.0.17, and WordPress Version 4.6.1.

Just today, EasyAzon has started to give me a blank screen when I try to visit my wordpress widgets page. Works perfectly fine when I deactivate the plugin.

If others are having the same problem, then may be an update is in order?

Harmonic theme, widgets page background imagery

I’m having a few issues with my site bakkerstudios.com.au
Ive spent days trying to sort this out alone- but am stuck!
The page I describe below are on the initial scroll page, with its nice slider of images and links.

Widgets page- can I make this page appear larger without having to show a whole pile of widgets? I want to show none- just the image, but a little larger

Widget Area Not Working with WordPress Version 4.5

Thank you for the nice plugin, however, it looks like there’s a jQuery conflict on the widgets page in the admin after upgrading to WordPress 4.5. The widgets will not open anymore, nor is the draggable function working now. All flyout menus are not functional when on the widgets page, too. I’ve attempted to uninstall and reinstall the plugin, but it didn’t seem to fix the issue. Do you by any chance have a fix for this, or would you be able to tell me what line (or lines) of code got installed which would cause this issue? Thank you in advance for your help!

WordPress 4.1.1 my widgets page is broken, pulldowns don't work

On the widgets page, none of the pulldowns work, neither the pulldowns to view/edit widgets, nor the ones at the top for Screen Options and Help.

I’ve changed the theme to TwentyFifteen, no change, so I changed it back. I’ve restored everything (database, all wordpress items) from my updraft backup of three weeks ago. But, this is a site I seldom edit, so the problem may have existed three weeks ago.

Any ideas on how to get widgets page to work again? Thanks.

When I activate Connections the Sidebars are gone on the Widgets Page

Hello,

I bought the Connections plugin, and almost all of the add-on upgrades.

It is a really good plugin.

However after a few weeks of using it I went into the Widgets page and discovered the sidebars are missing.

The sidebars are active and working on the site–just missing from the Widgets page.

I de-activated the main Connections plugin and the sidebars returned immediately to the Widgets page.

How can I have Connections AND Sidebars on the Widgets page?

This is using the Nexus theme by ElegantThemes.com, WordPress 3.8.1 and the most recent versions of Connections and add-ons. Hosting on WPEngine.com.

Widgets page can't finish loading in admin

Hi!
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but, I just upgraded to 4.8.11 and it makes my widgets page stop working in the admin. If I deactivate WPPA, the widgets page goes back to normal.

I’m trying to troubleshoot to see if something else is the problem, but everything else is working. I tried turning off all my plugins and activating/deactivating made no difference, except for WPPA. I tried reinitializing the plugin – no help. I’m wondering if I have a setting conflict somewhere?

I checked with my host (bluehost) and we upped the memory limits, etc. — no help.

I have a custom theme, so I activated Twenty Twelve – same issue, when WPPA is activated the widgets page — well, what seems to happen is that it can’t finish loading the page. It loads: Archives, Calendar, Categories, Custom Menu, and Last Ten Photos (all under “Available Widgets”) and then it just seems to cycle for awhile then gives up and stops. It doesn’t finish loading the rest of the widgets page.

My theme is responsive, if that means anything. The plugin is “working” — we’ve got many albums loaded and they show up and work. Site is wildwoodmusic.com –

I have checked the debugging option in the WPPA settings if that will assist.

Sidebar defined in a main theme

Think that a sidebar registered in a main theme function.php . If I don’t want to edit it, how can I delete that sidebar from Widgets page of admin panel by using function.php of the child theme? unregister_sidebar didn’t work. Or am I using a wrong way?
