“Your theme has 4 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”
I can see all the widgets I created in the backend in Appearance -widgets. But nothing is showing in frontend, I mean in shop page also.
Please help me to solve this.
Thank you.
]]>I set the sidebar and footer widgets up for the theme a long time ago, had some widgets appear in the sidebar for certain pages and not for others, etc.
Somewhere along, the widget control (includes visibility controls) stopped working, where I can no longer change or modify the widgets. This says previous widget settings are locked. No matter what I delete, move, alter, or modify in the widget module, that change shows in the widget module area, but does Not show on the website. The website continues to show the widgets as previously set.
Debug
Debug said, “it looks like your site cannot communicate properly with Jetpack”
Ok, it said that but the Dashboard says connected, even when I disconnected and reconnected, weird… (maybe I am in the Twilight Zone, waiting to hear the theme music and Rod Serling’s voice, haven’t heard that yet).
I did some checks,
The debug result that shows errors is as follows,

(This forum really needs the accordion feature, saves room and shortens these long posts due to code displays).
I looked at the forum and Google, found nothing so far. I checked this forum and nothing helped, so far, but there are thousands of posts on this.
I enjoy Nostalgia (Twilight Zone), but this problem is not entertaining.
So where does this stand? What can be done?
Thanks
]]>On Celestial Lite, more work but the ones I really need–page right or left don’t work.
Can you fix this or tell me what setting might be off?
Since Encounters has most of what I need, I could go with that if I could get a fix for the tops IF they can be controlled for visibility–on some pages but not others.
Also, if I use Encounters I would like to reduce the height of the header and change the font of the site title. If I can get all this to work with the premium version I can go there.

]]>I’ve had enormous trouble (brief past summary) importing my blog from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com but I have finally got the majority of the content across. I am currently hosted by Blue Host. I was using Oxygen theme however none of the CSS that I used in wordpress.com(premium version) would copy across to the new blog on .org. No matter what I did nothing would change.
So now I decided to change the theme. Now using Glades. The problems continue and to be honest I have no idea what to do next. I have also deleted the browser cache and put a plugin oin to delete the blog cache.
I have created a child theme also although there are no CSS changes in here yet as I haven’t even got to that step.
Some changes I am making are working. For eg, my menu has come through and the social icon menu that I created this morning has worked.
The widgets however are all over the place. Some work (not very many)
I am just trying to do the magazine template front page at the moment and the widgets that are there to dictate the way the content looks on the front page won’t work.
I would appreciate anyone being able to tell me what they think is wrong, why these changes aren’t working, and what I can do to fix.

Thank you so much.

]]>I am busy working on a client site, but for some reason none of the widgets are working and also not the screen shot.
]]>I created a “home” page and assigned it to be a “Front Page Template”. I also customized the template to show the static page “home”.
I dragged the recent posts widget to the First Front Page Widget area. Nothing shows on my homepage, just the page title (Home). I also added different widgets to the Main Sidebar Area, search recent post, categories, and archives. Again, no widgets are being displayed.
I also deactivated all plugins.
I am using the Fishpig extension in order to connect a Magento store to my WordPress blog (not sure if that makes any difference). www.aicmillworks.com/blog
Anybody has any suggestions or ideas to help me get my widgets to appear? Thank you!
