I need the primary color to be black and that controls the footer widgets I need them white so my navigation widgets links to be white. I have read everything and I cannot find the css code to add to make this happen.

Storefront Designer

Hello,

I have just downloaded the Storefront theme for my webshop, and bought the Storefront Extension Bundle.

I am having troubles seeing the changes that I am making in the Storefront Designer section. For example I am trying to make the space between the header and the slideshow just beneath smaller and trying to make the widget text black and not white, and while I am adjusting it I can see the changes being made but then when I press ‘Save and publish’ and go to the frontpage to take a look – the changes is now gone.

When I then go back to Storefront Designer to check again, then it is just as I have just saved it to be – but the result is not shown.

Any ideas for why this is happening?

I have the Cannyon theme. I am trying to write code under “widgets” for one of my sidebars; however, the text field option is missing. I can’t insert specific code under the widget title because the option for text is not there. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

i′m using the enigma theme and that theme does not display the text from the page text editor in the dashboard. It only places text in widgets. The Yoast pluginn doesn’t see this text. Does google indexes this text? Or does it only see it as a widget? thnx a lot!

Access specific Widgets Blocks Content through PHP

Hi Danny,

I love this plugin – so useful!

I am trying to build a nice little interface for my client where she can choose different widgets to be shown in the sidebar of pages. I want to create some widget blocks and offer those contents to be chosen and a page by page basis. For that I would like to use php in my theme to access the widget blocks content.
Is there any way to do that?
I could use a php function that I just feed with an ID of the widget and it displays the title and content. Could you provide such code?

The most common way to access widgets is this:
the_widget('My_Custom_Widget');

Could this work with Widget Blocks as well?
The problem is that it is not really just one widget but a kinda custom post type, right?

CSS Control Help for Sidebar Widge/Menu Link Buttons

Hi,

I know absolutely nothing about css and was able to search through this forum to create css controls for my bullets/lists, but none of the other tips are working. I would like to be able to change the following:

1. the top menu bar fonts, along with the dropdowns of those
2. all the sidebar widget titles
3. the sidebar widget text
4. the box that says the date for each post (don’t know what that’s called)

Sidebar links and text doesnt change size

I’ve been trying to change the size of the sidebar links and text. It changes on preview but when I check it on another browser (after saving and publishing the changes) it changes back to its previous size and each widget has different text sizes. pls help
