I checked and more checked. but when I active the redux plugin, that time showing the problem.

Note: the problem happens only WordPress 5.8 version.

Another older version is ok.

the “Custome HTML” widget crashes every time we try to use it. I’m able to add the widget to a page and add content to it, but as soon as the content is saved, and I refresh the page, I’m unable to edit the content and the page crashes as soon as I try to edit the widget. The widget also returns the content with a lot of backslashes.

The video popup widget also stopped working. it no longer opens a popup, it now send the user straight to the link.

I am trying to edit my footer, however all widget edits will not be saved. This applies to the generic WordPress text widget, as well as a widget specific to my theme (Veented Contact Details).

I am using this theme past few years. It is very nice but recently the left and right widget sidebars are not showing in main page of the website.I went checked the theme customization options all are fine. But still issues is not resolved.

Could you please help me out.

The one issue I cannot seem to get around is similar to what Dave Navarro, Jr. mentioned about having a close icon.

Having the menu “Widget ready” is extremely powerful, but anytime the menu is tapped it closes. This includes if you tap any interactive widget on the menu. So, clicking on a Log-In widget to enter your username or password closes the menu, or clicking an icon on a Google Maps widget also triggers the close event.

Is it possible to add a close icon or image on the top outside corner of the menu?

Fast forward 15min and they are ALL gone from the widget area too.

I go ahead and update to version 3.3.

I RE-ADD all of the text widgets that were removed.

NOW THEY ARE ALL GONE AGAIN!

Does anyone have a clue as to what the heck is going on?!?!?!
