Category Widget Showing “No Categories” Error

I am encountering an issue with the Category widget on my WordPress website. The widget is displaying the error message “Term items not found” instead of listing the categories. I have followed the recommended troubleshooting steps but have not been able to resolve the issue.

Steps taken so far:

Verified that categories are assigned to posts in the “Posts” > “Categories” section of the WordPress admin dashboard.
Checked category visibility settings to ensure they are not set to “Private” or “Password protected.”
Verified widget settings and ensured the correct category is selected.
Cleared cache and refreshed the page.
Disabled conflicting plugins and switched to a default WordPress theme temporarily.

Despite these efforts, the Category widget still displays the “No Categories” error. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions to resolve this issue and properly display the categories in the widget.

Widget Error – Specific Book

Hi.

I’m having an issue when I try to use Mooberry as a Widget. It works fine for Random, Newest, and Future Book, but when I try for a Specific Book it throws out this error:

I’ve spent the last couple of hours trying to figure this out. What am I missing? (I’ve obviously tried selecting the specific book I want)

Wideget and side bar erorrs

When i try to edit side bar I’m unable to do so the legacy widget was removed and now I cant edit side bar section if I add widget items to footer or other the update button doesn’t work

Site blocked when admin mode

Hi, I’m having a strange problem with my website rossanaflower.it , the thing is that it blocks when I’m logged in as an admin, it works perfeclty fine if I’m using it normally (I mean when I’m using it like any client would), but once I log in and see the upper admin bar, all buttons get blocked (only the header bar ones work), I can’t select text, can’t play videos, view images, nothing, like the entire site is blocked, I see a widget which I think its suppossed to be on the side area moving to the top, I’ve tried disabling plug ins but nothing, any ideas?

However on the frontend, the widgets work fine. The problem is that they don’t load completely and I can’t edit them.

Install Social Icons Widget Block Error

Since the latest update, nothing has changed on my website and now I’m getting an error on all my blocks where the social widget is inserted telling me that the block is no longer installed and that I need to install it or convert it to an HTML. It is installed. I’ve cleared the cache and deactivated all plugins except that one and it still won’t work. Thanks in advance!

Widget Error – Invalid do?

Hello!

I use a theme named Tribe from Launch and Sell. My site seems to be working fine, but when I go into the customization area and choose Widgets, There is an Error message on each section. I cannot read the entire message,as it is partially cut-off. What I can see is “ERROR fo” on line one and “Invalid do” on the second line. I activated a different them, and the same error message appears in Widgets on that theme as well.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this? Or should I just ignore it, since my site seems to be working?

I do not know if this was caused by the latest WP upgrade as I did not look at it before I did the upgrade.

Incorrect HTML for Widget. JSON parse error

Good day,

I was given a ‘badge’ to insert into our website. I have inserted it via a widget (shortcode option). It shows up but I’d like it to look more centred, with some space between the badge and the top of the frame which it sits in.Please can someone help me check if this html below is correctly set up:

Secondly, our other badge is now not working.
If I remove the code / broken image and try to save (I’m in the widget section), I get a “JSON parse error” response.
This is the short code they have given me for the second badge:

Please assist? Is there a common cause to the “JSON parse error” response? I have looked it up and it appears there are plenty things that could cause it; I wouldn’t know where to start.

Widget to pull tweets always shows error

Posting going well after going through Twitter stuff.

I can’t set up the widget to pull tweets though. Even entering a single letter into the settings gives an error. I’m out of ideas.

Where should I check?

Quick Contact Form widget causing issues

In trying to get into a widget area on this website this morning I got the message “Sorry, you are not allowed access to this page”. This issue only occurred in 2 of the 14 widget areas on the website. By deactivating each plugin on the website in turn I found that it was the Quick Contact Form plugin that was causing the issue. When I reactivated it I reallocated the Quick Contact Form widget (by dragging and dropping) and noticed that the widget area immediately below the widget area that I had allocated the widget to was underlined. On trying to access the widget area I again got the error message. Furthermore the Quick Contact Form did not display. I also found that if, rather than dragging and dropping the widget, I clicked on the arrow to the right of the Quick Contact Form widget to select the widget area I also get the error message.
The website was updated to WordPress 5.6.2 last night, so I don’t know if this is related.

Update: I have found that the shortcode works OK in a custom HTML widget so am currently using that instead of the Quick Contact Form widget.
