hello! i’m using this plug-in but it loads very slow when someone visits my website.

is this a common problem or am i doing something wrong?

pls reply asap!!!

Slider height and/or width are not valid or smaller than 50px

I’m using the 2014 template, and haven’t made any alterations to it yet.

I got that error message when using the widget first in the Sidebar, then the footer.

Now I’m trying to get it working somewhere (still not sure how) but the error appears in the footer and sidebar, even while it is not being used in any of those areas.

Any thoughts?

Not working with 3.9.1

Hi everybody!

Last night I upgraded WP to 3.9.1 and last version of JetPack.
Suddenly, my two sliders went out. Images were gone from Weptile.
Tonight I deleted both widgets and created a new one, with responsive disabled, to a size of 210×210.
It continues showing 210×320, like the last adjustments I made to the deleted sliders.

Could you tell what must I do to make this work correctly again?

conflict with html5 player

Hi futta, there’s a slight problem in java compression with html5 player and weptile plugins, actually it makes the player outwork. Another issue is css compression which can’t manage theme css files properly (I’m using BP default theme). So these are plugins which I use and couldn’t work with autoptimize java compression: 1- MediaElement.js – HTML5 Audio and Video 2- Weptile Image Slider Widget.

Hi;

I’ve been using Weptile Slider for a few weeks, building a webpage for a photography site. I think this is the best slider for my purposes, but now, after a minor update of the theme I’m using (Esplanade, by One Designs), it does not work anymore.
Any suggestions?

Broken images

Hi Weptile

When using you plugins all the images are broken

I am running wordpress version 3.5.1–da_DK and Weptile image slider Version 1.0.5

The weptile plugins cache folder is always empty, and the rights are 777 ?

The plugin rotates fine, but all images are broken – it will not copy to the cache folder.

Header Problem

I installed the plugin and it caused many problems related to some header session start. firstly I thought it would happen in reason of other plugins but after deactivating all the plugins, I recognize that the problem was absolutely internal. Some lines between 660 and 700 in the main php file are totally problematic and I hope it goes fixed in next versions

Squeezing out "wrappers"….

Love the “slider” widget, use it in several places, but this time I need to squeeze down the real-estate around the images to nothing (ie, no title, to margins, nothing extra — just the rotating pictures and maybe a 1px border). I have several 500px x 70px images I want to rotate through, but it has to fit in a 75px high box. But there’s always whitespace above it, so it’s shrinking the pics a bit and it still overflows the 75px box I want to put it into.

I could try to hack it, but it looks pretty complex in there so I’d probably have to spend a lot of time. Any suggestions? Or am I out of luck….

Again, I like it a lot, but have a feeling I’m not going to be able to use it here….

update to 1.0.4 wipes out images

i’ve updated your plugin, and discovered that all the widgets have lost the images, retaining only link, caption and alt info…

i’ve reinstalled a backup copy of the previous version, luckily saving all the previous work, but i’d really liketo know if that’s something you’ve considered and if you’ve got any suggestion on how to avoid such a disaster.

Is there some way to easily add a custom theme? Like maybe making a folder for one in my theme folder?

I looked into the \nivo-slider\themes folder and it looks like I could duplicate one and modify it to my liking. Although looking at the PHP, in order to get a new theme to register with the UI, I would have to modify weptile-image-slider-widget.php, am I right?

I assume this file would get overwritten when update an is installed.
