I’m needing help to determine what has caused my menu to become misaligned and I’ve also did a few updates to the menu on my home page which is not showing. I’ve recently switched hosting companies (had Siteground switched to Hostinger) and I’m not sure if that is the issue. I’ve cached, deactivated elementor, cleared browser. Nothing seems to help.
I have been making edits on Editor Beta and saving the edits, however when I go to visit site on my dashboard or go to the url, the website is an older version of my edits. It seems that the edits I am making on Editor Beta are not updating on the published site.
Please help. Thank you.
I’ve disabled both bluehost plugins. I’ve added the “classic editor” plugin thinking I just don’t know how to use wordpress anymore and to go back to what I know. I’ve set the cache to zero since I read this as a solution.
Absolutely nothing is changing anything. I’m doing the work and it’s saving somewhere and wordpress is convinced I’m doing something but the website never changes. There is a disconnect somewhere and I can’t figure it out. I’ve tried logging in through bluehost and nothing improves. I tried logging in then creating a new account via wordpress and it takes me to register a new domain.
Any insight would be very much appreciated.
I’m new to WordPress but understand the very basics and am trying to learn it asap. I have one client at this time who needs me to make some very basic changes including changing the address on their website. The correct address has been entered in the ABN Settings, but it is not updating to the live website. I looked at the footer code that calls the address from the ABN settings and found this code:

Address : <?php echo abn_option(‘abn_fa’);?>
I have no idea if the above code is correct, as I do not know PHP coding. I only do basic coding at this point.
Additionally, I made edits to the Donations page by simply adding a paragraph of text and then saved the changes…but again it did not update to the live website.

The only plugins installed are:
Akismet, Contact Form 7, Hello Dolly, Lockdown WP Admin
Since I’m new to WordPress, the last thing I want to do is mess up their live website. I have Dreamweaver and connected via FTP and just downloaded the website locally. I do not have WAMP installed locally that I know of and am not even sure if that’s relevant info to include in this post.
So basically I’m asking for advice as to how I can fix this issue so that the website will update when changes are made in the ABN settings as well as to pages via the WordPress dashboard. Once this is fixed, I know my way around the dashboard and can do the basics and learn as I go along. However, this seems to be a pretty technical issue with which I desperately need help. This client has been trying to get these very simple edits made to his website for weeks. The original designer is not helping either. I contacted the webhost and created a ticket, so they might help if a miracle happens…no guarantee there…and it’ll take at least 12 – 24 hours which is a long time to wait considering this client needs me to also add an option on the Donations page so people can make donations via Authorize.net. They are losing donations which are extremely vital to their non-profit organization.
Any advice and help will be so greatly appreciated! I have read that some people reinstalled plugings, but I do not know how to do that and am afraid to do so and somehow mess up their live website and not be able to fix it.
Thanks in advance for assistance,
Rachelle
What is further strange is that the page displays correctly in a different computer, IPAD, Iphone and other devices. Also, when I update the page and then preview the update, the old January information is displayed.
I am running Windows 10 and the website is www.sidewalkastronomy.ca
Also, when working on a page in the dashboard, I’ll click view page to see updates. It will take me to the page to see that the page has not updated, but it has also removed the dashboard links so I can’t access my dashboard anymore.
I have just uploaded the WP Fastest Cache plugin because I figured it would speed up my site from being so slow. And it did, but could it have caused the current problem?
The problem page is https://HomesSellFast.com/sell-my-house
Semper Fi
But when I just look at my website without logging in, as the public would see it, my articles are not being updated, my menu is all wrong, and new articles aren’t showing up.
What is happening? Why isn’t my website viewing to the public the way it does when I log in to my dashboard?
Thanks in advance
