A few days ago my website stopped working and showed “There has been a critical error on this website”. Then i renamed the plugins folder via FTP. After that i deactivated every plugin one by one until i found that it was WooCommerce which is causing the problem. My site is built mainly using that and i searched for ways to fix it and i found nothing. Please tell me what is the issue.

PHP 7.4 to 8.2 broke the backend

To up my PHP version from 7.4 to 8.2, which was prohibited by an outdated and now unsupported theme, I installed Virtue (plus toolkit), which I used some time ago already with success but did not stick to at the time.
First I edited some pages and the layout, all fine, theme options could be saved at any point. Then I upped the PHP ver. DB is MariaDB btw. Provider is domainfactory.
From then on when trying to save changed options, I get constantly the error “There was an issue with this action. Try again later or reload the page” or something congruent (browser language is not english).
Website status suddenly alerted me that plugins can not be updated without FTP credentials, which I never needed since WordPress was discovered. Only Virtue plugins are running in the latest version (3.4.9 for theme, 4.9.8 for the toolkit). Debug mode on gave me hundreds of lines saying dynamic content was deprecated, all pointing to virtue theme files.
Rollback to PHP 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1 gave no change in the save-options-failure.
7.4 got rid of the deprecation notice, but saving options is still not an option.
What Did I break? Did I? How to recover from this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Website opens wrong main page

My website only works when I enter its url. When I google it up it, the results show: “macabre-pariah.com/home”. The page titled “Home” doesn’t exist. My problem is that whatever I do I cannot reset my main page back to “macabre-pariah.com”

The error occurred recently and I exhausted all options trying to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Loading Times/ Website Problems

Hello,

we are using DHL plugin (Germany) for 2-3 years now and we never had problems with the plugin. However, in the last 4 weeks we frequently had loading time problems while using the plugin. First, labels were created very slowly. Second, the overall website loading time was slowed down. And third, our website was sometimes even completely off.

Are there any problems regarding compatibility with woocommerce at the moment?

Hi, I made a stupid mistake following site health advise to change to https and now i can’t access my website or see it. I only built this website on www.remarpro.com without proper hosting as my client already has a domain purchased elsewhere. I haven’t connected the site to the domain just yet as I was still working on final pieces.

Now I am unable to use my admin page and for some reason I also can’t log in using FileZilla or any other FTP server and I’m devastated.

Can someone please help me to understand how am I able to reverse that change?

My name is Raice, and I’m writing for the first time in this forum. Usually I prefer to browse through the forums and google rather than creating a thread. This issue looks unique.

I recently came across an issue that I believe someone from this forum can help.

I have noticed that there are more than 100 pages ending with the word “aggregate” that have been created automatically on my website, resulting in a 404 page not found error. I discovered these links from the Google Search Console, and I’m not sure why this has happened.

About a month ago, I redirected all the 404 pages on my website. However, these new links have been created recently, and I’m not sure why. Could it be related to the JavaScript delay feature that I started using with the WP Rocket plugin? I am reluctant to disable this feature because it has significantly improved the performance of my website, and I have spent countless hours to make it work properly.

My main concern is how these newly created pages will affect my SEO. Can you please advise me on what steps I should take to resolve this issue and ensure that my website’s SEO is not negatively impacted?

Website woke up all blank

The site has been online for more than a year, working perfectly, and without any updates, changes, anything in the code, or even in the content. But suddenly, without anyone changing anything, we went to access the site and it was completely white. The admin panel accesses normally, so I accessed it, updated the version of wordpress that was not up to date, and then I received an email from wordpress “Since WordPress 5.2 there is an internal feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site and notifies you with this automatic email. In this case, WordPress detected an error with your plugin: Rs Addons.” So I deactivated RS ADDONS and some things reappeared on the site, it was no longer 100% white, but the site is completely broken, things are out of place and several other things do not appear. I use the CRETIC theme from RSTHEME that I bought everything right, I sent a message to the support of RSTHEME but it’s been 1 week and no response. The site is completely broken. Can someone help me please?
