The WooCommerce image gallery are driven from the original language.
In other terms, the default behavior is, the product gallery medias set in the original language product pages, are the images available in their translations. Same medias if not translated, or translated medias for those translated from WPML Media Translation, but that’s always the same number of medias.
This means that, the images are NOT translate from the translated pages.
Unfortunalely, when trying to update one of our product medias, I realized that the modifications were:
This has been the case when adding or removing a media.
However, clearing WPML’s cache solved it all.
I didn’t spot any error log.
WPML suggested you might be able to do something about it.
I hope the explanation is clear enough. If you need more details, please let me know.
I can probably provide you with a screencast if needed.

]]>If I comment out the vary that is set for wcml_currency in wcml.cls.php then I start to get hits, but no vary on the currency ofc.
We use WPML Woocommerce Multicurrency with Geo lookup to set the user currency. If we remove the geo lookup then it seems to be working. My suspicion is that there is a problem with WCML and geo lookup.
]]>Tags can not be translated at all.
Examples:
Main Langue => Second Language
“The Most Hyped” tag name with most “most-hyped” tag slug with already translated tag to say “Crazy Tag” tag name and “most-hyped” tag slug. After you add “The Most Hyped” to Product in the main language it automatically will create tag with name “The Most Hyped” and create “the-most-hyped” slug for it in the second language.
I tried different combinations but it wether adds “-secondlanguage” to the slug and always adds the first language (english in this case) to the second language. You can only do it if you turn Woocommerce Multilingual off.
You can do it with standard WOML.
So, the only possible solution is to use the same product tag names and the same slugs.
Sometimes, it even didn’t let me use the same slugs.
Even if I made all this manipulations while Woocommerce Multilingual was turned off. It would still messed up all the tags if I changed something in the product wether it was description or anything.
I can not not use Woocommerce Multilingual as it’s the only option to copy variations and stock of variations between translations. If you know how to do it, please, let me know.
All in all, the plugin is really laggy!
]]>I have all attributes translated, no issues but I can see them only for the main language.
I tried to sync attributes, for example, BRAND (have 90 brands) but the process never ends.
]]>I’m using WPML to translate my WooCommerce site. My site is in English and French. If you are not logged in the menu displays a “login” button, and if you are logged in, it switches to a “My Account” button. I made this function in the theme code, and so I have used __(‘login’) and __(‘My Account’) in order to make it translatable. Both of them show up in translation strings and I’ve translated both of them, but for some reason the “My Account” button does not switch to the French translation when the site is in French. The Login button works perfectly, but I just can’t make the My Account button translate. Can anyone help me?
