Hello
I am using a ticket support plugin that has a section for sending audio files (by users) in .wav format.
But it doesn’t work and when I disable this WP Avatar plugin, the problem is solved.
How can I disable “limit for upload .wav files”? Is there any function code that I can put in my theme?

Hi,

Is it possible to restrict file type to only play .mp3 file and nothing else? If they upload a preview.mp3 file that has a watermark they added, but then a original.wav file, both will be playable. We only want the .mp3 to show in the players automatically.

I was wondering how I could upload .wav files (audio file) to WordPress. I have tried editing functions following tutorials and my website crashed. If there is a plugin for .wav files it would be better since I do not know much about coding. If not I will try my best with coding.

Ps. I am using Layerswp theme on my site.

I am trying to upload (.wav) audio files into a post for my blog so that viewers can play them without having to download the files. I uploaded the files by clicking on “add media” selecting the files, and the selecting “embed media player” before inserting them into my post.
Once inserted a black bar shows up with a play button, track duration bar, and a volume control. BUT when I hit the play button the track will NOT play. Did I miss a step? What’s the problem?

I am .wav files won’t play in internet explorer (on a couple of different computers). They play in google chrome and fire fox just fine. I am just using the free download.

Should .wav and .wma files be able to use the player – at present it seems they are ignored.

Hi,
Does anyone know a good plugin that not only uploads the .wav file but also creates a little player?
Lots of plugins can upload .wav files that then pull up the PCs media player, and lots of others create a nice little player for MP3 files (!), but as a professional musician I need the quality of .wav.
