Hi there, recently i did a test with gtmetrix and i saw big delays in the waterfall. I track file`s destination into my server, delete those files but the problem remains. What should i do?

I installed your plugin and it works fine, but from a GT Metrix scan I notice dozens of on “Waterfall”. How is the plugin possible? I currently use both Wp-Optimize and SgOptimize with site hosted on Siteground.

301 redirect in waterfall, how to remove?

I’m checking my waterfall in GTmetrix and saw that there is a 301 from https://www.mysite.com to https://mysite.com. This handshake seems to take around 3 seconds. Is this normal or is there a way to remove the 301 to increase site speed?

I am constantly running Gtmetrix and I see in the waterfall tab that Swift’s js slows down my website. If you follow the GTmetrix link and navigate to the “waterfall” you will see this: “https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/cache/swift-performance/ikistikes.gr/js/93f8f22268ee91a291bfe9e0821698f8.js”

How can I fix it?

Hello there I have set up autoptimize but I have an php file that’s taking a very very long time to load ( more than 1 second) in the GT metrix waterfall. I have no idea how to solve that.

Excellent plugin, I optimised my page load speed, cut down on all the needless stuff loading in the background and ultimately improved my website for users…. not to mention the SEO benefits of having a streamlined website.

Support from the plugin creator was 5 star.

404 not found

Awesome speed increase when Scripts> Merge Scripts is enabled.

However, GTMetrix Waterfall indicates a 404 not found with “domain”/wp-content/cache/swift-performance/”domain”/js/0e686ec3ad11eb92ceb989ee7967b2ce.js

The JS reference number is different every time, but the waiting/purple line is consistently in the 3 second region.

If I disable Merge Scripts, the problem goes away, but my site load time increases.

How do I prevent the script from having this error? I did a bunch of research to no avail. Your help is appreciated. Thank you!

Creating media masonry grid

I would like to create “Masonry Layout with Simple Responsive Gallery Popup” (clicking on image will popup large version of image) with pictures (id=254,267,84,85,101,etc) already stored in media library.
This is exactly what is described on demo site but what shortcode do I use ?? as in settings all I see is shortcodes for posts:
– Masonry Layout of Default posts : [simple_masonry]
– Masonry Layout of Default posts from Specific Category :
– Masonry Layout of posts of your choice
– Masonry Layout of posts as gallery :
– Masonry Layout of posts of your choice as gallery :

Performance/Waterfall/Bottleneck?

AJ,

I have been happily RELYING on Top 10 for years now and it’s one of my most beloved plugins. However, lately our emphasis has been on improving our site performance (slashcomment.com) and GTMetrix continually flags two pieces as slow for us.

One is a sidebar widget that goes off-site for box office results that we’re going to retire.

The other is oddly to us, Top 10. It’s on average taking 1.5 seconds to load and that seems excessive to me for a tool that isn’t even front-facing (unless I misunderstand how it works).

I am literally incapable of thinking about using the site without this on my dashboard. Is there something wrong? Is there some way to prevent this bottleneck?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
