Social media icons and Google Font are not loading properly in the frontend both on desktop and mobile with ‘W3 Total Cache’s Browser Cache’ turned on. Fine with minification and other settings turned on.

Whenever I empty the cache, W3 Total Cache displays an error that,
“Minify Auto does not work properly. Try using Minify Manual instead or try another Minify cache method. You can also try a lower filename length value manually on settings page by checking “Disable the Minify Auto automatic filename test”

Due to this problem, my site’s speed has been drastically reduced.

My WordPress version is 3.9.1

First off – i have 3.5.5 version, which is not even in the dropdown. My interface doesn’t say there are updates possible, but there is 3.6 in the dropdown as well. Thats just for extra confusion. Thank you!

On to the point – the plugins clearly has ‘under-the-hood’ issues with W3TC or any other plugin that writes to .htaccess for that matter. I have now followed my site crashing over and over again, each time saving the corrupted .htaccess with the last working one and data is not conclusive – better WP security keep overwriting lines of other plugins, for the most part, as well as itself sometimes. And I mean overwrite lines in mid sentence causing .htaccess syntax error and crashing the site. It seems to have no regards and no structure for where it writes lines, it will pop in new code anywhere at random overwriting anything in its way.
I have had security in the beginning, I will now try to move it at the end W3TC and other plugin code and will report further.

There is a minify and a SCC problem

W3TC is preventing the CSS from working –

It is causing style sheets to get a 404 error.

It does not matter what I do and what I try in diffferent combinations it will still prevent the css from working.

Even if i turn the plugin off – The errors still take place.

I am using this in a WordPress NETWORK.
All plugins and everything is up to date.

What really stinks is that to delete this plugin in will kill my site.
Cache’ plugins are know to leave death in their wake when deleted.

Please fix this.
Charge for this plugin – Many of us will happily pay for something that works properly.

Hi I’m using the W3 Total Cache plugin on my site, but when i try to configure my cdn with ftp it gives me the message below

Error: Incorrect login or password (ftp_login() [function.ftp-login]: Login incorrect.)

I have tried this resolution below

im tryng to config W3TC and my prob is at the bottom of my site i have tabs such as “description” “additional Info” and “reviews” and when u click on them that change the section u see to the section you choose. but after i installed W3TC they are not tabs anymore, there static and it just shows all the sections on the page and makes the page very long, how do i fix this?

W3 Total Cache help please , made my www. And non www not resolve

I had a bit of a nightmare with w3 total cache , w3 sped my site up , but via a test on woorank , i found that the site was showing as possible duplicate content and showing that the www. And non www. Did not resolve .
Has anyone had the same experience or any does anyone which settings i should be changing to make the w3 total cache plugin work ?
