[Theme: Vulcan] qtranslate don't translate page options'short description'

Hi,

I have a problem with the theme “Vulcan” with qtranslate. qtranslate can’t translate the field “short description” in page options using the language tags, any of them.

Any ideas?, i understand that is code fix but i don’t know what and where.

Font loading delay in Vulcan

We have updated to the latest WordPress version and it has adversely impacted font loading on our website (www.appliedtechonomics.com).

Thoughts/suggestions/recommendations for fixing the font loading issue? Please respond only if you know how to solve the stated issue.

Having issues with my slide show

I was trying to move some stuff around on my wordpress homepage and messed up my site in the process. At this point I just want to fix the slideshow on my main page. I deleted this text “” temporarily from my homepage and now even after I’ve posted this back into my homepage the slideshow still isn’t working properly. I’m hoping there is an easy way to fix this problem, so if anyone an help it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Child theme not working

Hi, I’ve just moved a client site from local to live server. On my local it was working perfectly. Since moving, my child theme is not working.

The url is www.biztel.co.uk. Has anyone got any ideas?

The theme is vulcan and I used backupbuddy to move it.

Slideshow problems – Vulcan theme

Hey there. I′m building my site using the Vulcan theme, but I am having problems with the slideshow on the homepage.
I won′t show the actual picture but just the two dots to navigate to the next slide. The slideshow works on other subpages, so the problem is just on the homepage.
I hope someone can help me with this.

Edit Image / Gallery Problem

I am running a Vulcan theme on 3.4.1.

Myself and others have been trying to get our galleries to work properly for some time now with no success, please help.

The problem starts when uploading images. Using the standard gallery the images upload but the loading bar never completes; it gets to the point where it says “Crunching” and never changes. The images appear in the Media but when I “edit image” the preview (under the rotate and flip options) is just a red X. It knows that it needs to pull a picture but it does not pull it properly.

Using the NextGen Gallery (latest version) the images, when uploading, always come back with an error. The images are saved to the gallery and are useable in posts and pages but when going to “edit thumb” it shows an X where the preview should be.

I have googled and searched as much as I can and have tried multiple fixes but nothing has worked as of yet. If you can think of any thing that could possibly fix this or if you have any insight as to why I am having problems with my thumbnails please let me know so I can get this too work. Thanks in advance.

Change Menu for one page in vulcan theme

Hi I am trying to make a minor change on a website for a friend. The website is trao.org. If you look at it and click on the link “Tow Show” you’ll be able to see what I’m needing help with. Basically, this theme keeps the same navigation menu throughout the website. This is fine for every page except for the “Tow Show” page. I would like the menu to have different links up top. However, I am not sure how to do this and don’t want to edit any files without some advice first. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Vulcan theme activation error

I just downloaded the Vulcan template via themeforest. I’m trying to install it through WP admin. Each time I try to activate it, the main page (admin page) becomes inaccessible. I have no idea why this happens. Each time this happens, I have to go manually and remove the Vulcan folder from the themes directory and everything’s back to normal. I tried reinstalling WP just to make sure that it’s not something related to WordPress. Could you please help us fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
