Can I use Sportspress to manage multiple kinds of Sports in one blog? For example Soccer, Volleyball and Handball?

I am using the volleyball pluggin. I can’t get the ranking displayed in the correct order. because if there are a tie in points for won matches, the one that it has most sets wons it would have to be displayed first. How do I do that?

We are a non-profit youth sports organization with basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams. We want our coaches to create their team roster with security to limit access to each coach and athletic directors. Individual bio and photos are not necessary, and no need for scheduling games since they play against other teams within a larger league that creates and publishes schedule of games on their own website.

Is there a demo site that we can see and get a feel of the plugin.

Hello, I apologize for not fluent English.
I’m trying to configure the results for volleyball matches.
Specifically, if the team wins 3-0 / 3-1 it gets 3 points. If he loses 0-3 / 1-3 he gets no points.
At the tie break (5 sets) the conditions are: 3-2 (victory) -> 2 points, 2-3 (loss) -> 1 point.
I tried, but without success. Can you help me?

Hi,

i have a problem how to setup volleyball pts in sportspress. Here https://demo.themeboy.com/sportspress/varsity/volleyball i see that it’s use standard formula (win * 3). In my case I need to add 1 point to loser team if results is 3:2. The winner should get 2 points instead of 3.
3:0 = 3 points for winner
3:1 = 3 points for winner
3:2 = 2 points for winner, 1 point to loser team.

Hi everybody,
I use sportspress free for moment, I try to see if it’s can be usefull for us.
My sport it’s Volleyball.
I have a question about save result of a match. Your plugin is program for take information of every player on match and then make result but if we want only make result and not detail what player did during the match how a can set the result automaticaly ?
Because we my search I can’t make equation for result event set, but the variable depends of player stats.
So for example I want to set automatically total point :
so equation must be Total Pts = Pts(set 1) + Pts(set 2) + Pts(set 3) + Pts(set 4) + Pts(set 5)
and win or loose it’s not only most pts, it’s most set win…
If you have idea about thats ?

we need to have points calculation so we can add to previous scores of players for ranks. Related to Tennis, Table Tennis, Volleyball etc

How can this be done?

Example below for Tennis:

Match 1
A vs B
A 6 5 6 Total points – 20 (20 always for the winner)
B 4 7 2 Total points – 13

A vs C
A 6 5 6 Total points – 20 + 20 (20 from previous match) = 40
C 4 7 2 Total points – 13

B vs A
B 6 5 6 Total points – 13(previously) + 20 = 23
A 4 7 2 Total points – 40(previously) + 13 = 53

It’s possible to type in the amount of games in the “advanced” tab, however in volleyball.php line 41 the number of sets is hardcoded. It should be set by the advanced tab. For the right calculation, the functions getNumWonMatches3_2() and getNumLostMatches3_2() has to be adjusted to be flexible to the sets like round up and down half of the sets.
