Hi there,

I wanted to make some updates on my pages, but I am only able to access ‘Visual’ view. When I try to switch to ‘Text’ as I always do, nothing happens. Therefore, I can’t access my code and make any edits on it.

Please advise.

I’ve deactivated all plug-ins, cleared cache and read the 4.6 documentation. My visual view to edit posts or pages does not display (just a white box). I can see and change the HTML code in Text view.

Please help … how to fix? Happened after 4.6 update.

– Visual view does not reflect text view.
– Changing from visual view to text view mangles the code – removing span, paragraph & line break tags, adding extra paragraph & line break tags and incorrectly changing indenting.
– Starting with text view mangles the code – adding extra paragraph close tags and incorrectly changing indenting.

This is what I noticed but there may be other problems.

Html code for email opt-in box only shows as text on 404 page

Hello.

I’m using Genesis 2.0.2 with the Dynamik theme version 1.6. I was able to install your plugin and added text, a few links and an image to the 404 page. Everything showed up fine. But when I go to add some html to create an opt-in form on the 404 page, the form code saves as text.

I’ve tried pasting form code in as html and javascript, and have tried opt-in form code from MailChimp and GetResponse. I’ve tried resetting the 404 page settings. Every time, the code shows up as if I had pasted it into the “visual” view, not the “text” view.

I can clearly see I’m in text view – I can see the code that creates the image and the links, but the plugin keep showing my opt-in form code, not the actual opt-in box.

How to fix?

My website has been working great. Today, I go to edit a page in Visual View, and it is a skinny column. I don’t write HTML, so I need to work in visual view. What could have happened to change this?

Hi. I know very little about html, and on accident I hit the HTML view tab that’s next to the Visual view tab when trying to edit one of my pages. Now, I can’t get it to go back to the Visual view. Hitting the tab does nothing. I’ve logged in with Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari and nothing fixes the problem. I saw this problem asked and fixed in a forum that was closed 3 years ago, but I don’t understand any of it. For example, what’s tinymce? Can anyone please help me?

I signed in to wordpress this morning, and all of the sudden the “visual view” for posts was missing, including the tab that allows to switch back and forth between it and html. The only thing it will let me do is write or edit posts in the html view. Help!

I have tinymce installed with a theme called iFeature.
When I look at a page in visual view I can see the table with its borders. When I look at the same page after I click on Visit Site the table looks very different. Is this expected? The table is built properly using tinymce and there are no errors in the html.

css and images not displaying in dashboard visual view

Hey guys. Im having some css and image display problems with a custom page template. My css will not show up in the visual view in the dashboard, nor will the image. All that displays is this:

When I view the page on my localhost, the css does display but the image still wont. As seen here:

Im using the blogpost() function for both the css and image, which i cant understand why one will work and one will not.
Everything was fine when the page was just a template. It wasn’t until i brought it in to be edited by the cms that things became broken.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
