WP Visual Mode not working

I just installed wordpress and I noticed the Visual Mode is not working

Have uninstalled all my plugins, PHP version is update to date, changed theme but that doesn’t seems to solve the problem.

can not get visual editor mode

After change theme we decided to return back to Gutenberg editor. The site is on Multisite mode. For different sites we used different themes.
The problem is Gutenberg edits to post in Code editor mode only. There is no block of changing mode. Shortkeys for switch modes (ctrl+shift+alt+M) do not work.
We tried to install Gutenberg as plugin. This does not work.
Is there any way to re-install Gutenberg and add visual code mode?

Hi,
because I didn’t find a solution in the archive here…..

I use to write my posts with the Classic editor in classic mode. No block editor.
When I open the editor in visual mode, I cannot type or paste text in the text window. I have to move to text mode to add text. Then, going back to visual mode, the text window does not show anything.

How can I get editing in the visual mode working correctly?

Visual mode not working

For writing my posts I use the Classic Editor, and have TinyMCE Advanced installed. Working the old way, so, not the block editor.
Writing in the editor field does not work when the visual mode is on. Only after switching to the text mode I can write.
In visual mode there’s no cursor.
After having written a post in the text mode (and saved it), switching to visual mode gives an empty window, the saved post is not there.

After disabling this plugin, the visual mode of the editor can be used again.
What could cause the problem and how can it be solved?

ACF WYSYWIG Visual content not displaying

ACF WYSIWYG fields with content in them don’t show the content when set to “Visual” view in the page/post admin.

The content only displays in “Text” view.

Disabling Yoast fixes the issue.

Since the last update, in Visual mode, shortcodes are no longer visible, even when put there by hand.
In addition, after making and publishing a page, calling the page again to make some changes, the editor shows this.
It means, changes cannot be made anymore in visual mode.
I’m using the editor in classic mode.

Could you please change this behavior, to let me see my text and shortcodes in Visual mode again?

Text mode doesn’t “stick”. When I create a new post, it always opens in visual mode. I can switch to text mode and paste in some text. When I save, the editor reverts to visual mode. When I switch back to text mode, the text has changed, with extraneous
’s and non-breaking spaces added.

I am a new administrator; another administrator (who created the WordPress installation several years / WP versions ago) does not have this issue; when he creates a post it always opens and stays in text mode.

Is there some setting that I’ve missed that will keep me in text mode after saving a draft? Or (better) that will always start new posts in text mode?

After your plugin helped me solve a CSS problem on my live site within minutes (THANKS!), I can’t get the visual mode working on my staging site. There’s not yet much content here, but something is blocking visual mode.

After updating to the latest version of WordPress (version 5.1.1, The Core Child theme), the tables are not displaying in admin Visual Mode anymore. How can I solve this problem?
