I have been developing a site for a month. But today my visual editor stopped working.
I only have 8 posts on my site. For 2 posts, I can see the visual editor but for the other 6, I cannot. All I see is the white text editor.
I have emptied out all the caches on browsers, tried 4 browsers, rebooted my computer twice, and called my hosting company 4 times.
But nothing has worked out.
I also tried modifying the wp-config file. But that didn’t help either.
Surprisingly, the hosting company can see the visual editor on all posts but I cannot see it only 6 of them.
I tried accessing my site’s editor through my smartphone, but the same thing happened.
It seems to me that the visual editor has selectively disappeared on 6 posts.
Please help me. I am extremely frustrated.
]]>Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?
I have deactivated all plugins and reactivated one by one to see if that was the problem. It wasn’t.
All plugins, wordpress, and the theme have been updated. I had done nothing new when the visual editor disappeared.
Any help would be appreciated.
]]>Anyway, here’s the problem. WP was working fine until about one week ago. Now, I have lost the visual editor when I’m writing or editing a post. That is, normally you would see a WYSIWYG representation of your post and then had the option of viewing the HTML code.
Now, the post is always displayed as code and there are no more icons to switch between the visual and the code editors.
What caused this and how can I fix it?
Thanks for any help.
