I am not sure when this occurred. I believe it happened after a recent WordPress update because I was able to view my password and change the status of public or private the last time I wanted to.
I have a lot of password protected pages and I can’t access the password to know what they are or to change them.
Any thoughts why this is or how to correct it?
Thanks.
]]>I want to show a product on only one page and hide it from all other pages (shop page, related products on product page, ..). So I tried to set catalog visbility to hidden to hide it from the shop. Then I tried to view the product with the following shortcode: [products ids=’$product_ids’]. Sadly the hidden product will not be shown with that shortcode.
I then noticed that there is the ‘visbility’ option for the shortcode to show hidden products. But then it only shows hidden products and won’t show the non-hidden products. So I would need an option like ‘all’ to show visible and non visible products on a custom page. Is that somehow possible with this shortcode?
If not is there another option to achieve this?
Thank you.

]]>Before 2.1.0 or 2.1.1 update, Admins could see any post, no matter what group restrictions was set.
It seems that this is not possible anymore : if a post had group restrictions, and if the admin is not in the group, he can’t see the post from the admin.
Reading the changelog, I conclude I have to put a GROUPS_ADMINISTRATOR_OVERRIDE to true in a PHP plugin.
I understand the concept, but IMHO, this is not an expected behavior, as updating the plugin change the visibility of posts for the admin, and it require to add custom custom in a PHP file (which some people are not able to do on their own). It was quite surprising to see that some posts were missing, I first checked in the database table to see if the post were still present or if I get hacked (I am not the one who upgrade the plugin in my WordPress install so maybe I miss an upgrade notice warning).
Could you bring the old behavior back, or at least, add it as a switch in the plugin setting ? Maybe add the “old behavior” as default ?
Meanwhile, I rollback to 2.0.3 for the moment.
Thanks for listening, and many thanks for your plugin
Cheers !
]]>I’m using an excellent plugin called WP Hide Post for my website. It’s based on events, where the events are actually the posts showing on the front page.
Once the events have passed I use WP Hide Post to hide the visibility from the front page.
However this plugin did suddenly stop working for no apparent reason.
In the post editor the options tab to hide the visibility is just not showing up anymore.
Unfortunately the plugin maker ‘rmahfoud’ has pretty much disappeared and this plugin has not longer been update since 2010-1-3.
My question is: anybody who could possibly help out with this plugin or is there any valid alternative for it?
Will be very grateful for any kind of help!
