Custom SQL Views not backed up?

When creating a Database backup of my site and I transfer the backup to a local installation and Restore it there, my custom SQL Views are not restored.

Are there limitations to what is included in the database backups, or how should I do a complete database backup?

Event category page: how to change H1 tag value programmatically?

Hello there,
I installed the Kadence template and I purchased Kadence Pro Block and Kadence Pro plugin.

I am trying to migrate a site with thousands of articles and events (created by The Events Calendar ver. 5.12.0) from the Eventica theme to the Kadence theme (with TEC ver. 6.6.1), which I assumed was suitable for use with The Events Calendar.

I’m trying to correctly set the H1 tag value (text inserted at the top, with a red background, see this screenshot), so that for example:

– the Theatre category has H1 = “Theatre in Milan: events in the city and surroundings”
– the Exhibitions category has H1 = “Exhibitions in Milan: events in the city and surroundings”
– the X category has H1 = “X in Milan: events in the city and surroundings”

I tried, without succeeding, to create a Kadence element to manage a specific category, “Concerts”: the result is shown in this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/wROl3E.jpg

Can you help me write a PHP snippet to generate the required H1 value? After all, I only need to display an H1 with the category name, within each category page, followed by the text ” in Milan: events in the city and surroundings”.

Premium feature to view pages by VIEW COUNT?

Are you guys serious? The most BASIC feature of being able to sort pages / posts by VIEW count now appears to be a PREMIUM feature? Clicking “sort by VIEWS” leads to a blank page and anyway that I could actually get VIEWS to show up, even when scattered, it just says “PRO” and then when you hover it says “click to upgrade” or unlock… I feel like such a grumpy old man getting aggravated by this sudden shift in the digital space with EVERYTHING!!! being subscription based, and im only in my freaking 20’s. Uninstalled and finding another plugin which allows SORTING BY VIEW COUNT, the only reason we ever downloaded this plugin in the first place.

All Posts stopped showing number of reader views

I don’t have an actual page that I need help with. About two days ago in the Dashboard when I go to my Posts and see them all listed where it shows the title, category, tags, dates, views, all of a sudden the views are not showing. In other words my latest post shows 0 views and all the older posts are stuck on the number of views they had a couple of days ago. Above the number there is now a little padlock. When I hover over it, it says “unlock this feature”. When I click on it goes to a WP Statistics page where it would like me to pay various amounts to have the views reinstated. https://wp-statistics.com/product/wp-statistics-mini-chart/?utm_source=wp-statistics&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=mini-chart

This is also affecting the blog views I can see in the Overview. For example this week it shows I have 123 visitors which must have happened before they locked the views. Versus last week where I had 5110 views.

I just have a personal blog since 2017 that I don’t make money on so I’m already in the hole with having a server and I try not to spend any more money. Is there some other way I can see my views without paying money?

Forminator views showing unreasonably high

Hi,
Love the Forminator plugin. But when I checked the reports for the form, I can see that it has 16241 views and 78 submissions. I am sure the views are not accurate because the page with the form only has 1220 views in the last month. The form submissions are accurate because I get the email with the latest form entry number but what could be the reason for the views number being so high?

There are times when you hit a brick wall and just can’t make Formidable Forms look the way you want. I hit one such time this week and put in a support ticket with three questions all to do with images and formatting in views.

I got a quick response from Dimitris. He suggested some CSS and shortcode amendments. This resolved two of my issues. I then gave him admin access and he resolved the third.

Views is not the easiest part of Formidable Forms to use. Hopefully they will, at some point, make it compatible with Elementor but for the time being I can’t fault the support I have received.

WP Statistics newest update Fiddles with your Data

Before the recent update, for example, a post which got nearly 900 views, is listed as having now only 180. That is not what an update is supposed to do. With every update the views go down, but the traffic on the server is actually increasing, as I can see it from the logs. WPStatistics, therefore, is no longer giving you the real data, but is manipulating that. Dont rely on it. In fact, uninstall it.

No option to switch back to Month View when in List View.

When I’m on Month view on my site I have the option to toggle over to List View in the little dropdown above the calendar on the right.

But when I’m in List View, the only option in the toggle is still just List View.

Some other details I noticed:
– The option to go to List View is bolded when you are already in list view, and normal weight when in Month View. This seems to suggest BOTH options are supposed to be available no matter what view you are in, and the view you are in is always bolded. But in Month View and List View, there is only the option to go to List View.
– When clicking the toggle dropdown, I get a Quirks Mode warning in Chrome’s dev tools. It says to make sure the page is using , which it already is.
– We don’t remember having this issue before, so it may have something to do with a recent update?
– I searched the forum here and the closest match I could find to my issue is this thread which details some JS snippets to use. I tried both snippets and neither of them fixed the issue.
