I’d like to display your views counter in the metas of my posts with blocksy free or premium theme. When i add your php sequence in the child theme in function.php file, i obtain a critical error. Your plugin is installed, activated and jetpack too (sorry for my english, i’m french =) ).

Hello,

I took the view counter off of my single page posts so visitors can’t see the page views. But when I did this, the back end dashboard stopped logging the page views. So it says that all my page views are 0 which is not the case.

How can I hid the view counter but still get the number of readers on the backend dashboard?

This looks great – I have used it for a while to show visitors the number of people that have seen a posting. But the numbers are inflated by Bots looking at the post. eg:- Twitter and Instagram will inflate the numbers fast. I still like it though.
