I’ve embedded my channel on a page and it display. However, when I click on a video it only opens a lightbox placeholder image, the video does not play.
Why is this happening?
How do I fix?

Hi Mate,
Hope you are doing great.

I offer free video-based courses to people who are emotionally distressed. I have kept all my videos on Google Drive as I cannot afford the expensive platforms like Vimeo, Wistia etc.

I have embedded those videos on courses with Lifterlms. However, often my students get an error on the video file “Couldn’t preview file. There was a problem playing this video”.

This problem has occurred majorly from the last 15-20 days. Sometimes it works, sometimes it shows above error (as informed by my students)

I don’t know whether it has any issues with other plugins. I use the below-mentioned plugins for better performance of my website…

1. WP Fastest cache
2. WP-Optimize
3. Cloudflare
4. Fast Velocity Minify
5. iThemes Security
6. BJ lazy load

Also, I use the Ocean Theme and Elementor Page Builder.

Please help me to get the issue resolved.

Videos not playing from youtube

I have been using MaxGalleria for a while without incident. Then youtube changed their interface.

I was able to get the developer account to be able to work with the youtube interface. I set up a new gallery that worked fine.

Now for some reason all of the video galleries set up with MAxGalleria are not working. The skins are there — but when you click on the video, a lightbox opens but only shows an arrow that does not play.

The other videos on my site that are not set up with MaxGalleria play. But they obviously are not as visually pleasing in the way the skins are laid out using MaxGalleria. https://tempol.info/videos-audios/

Was there another upgrade or something else I need to do to get them working? Please let me know.

hi all…!

So basically, my website www.bradyjamesnyc.com , if you click the videos tab, i just updated the site with 9 new videos down bottom….the only thing is, they’re not playing…..my only guess is that its because the software needs to be updateded? the code is exactly the same for the top 9 videos which work fine…..really befuddling to me.

any troubleshooting anybody can offer would be much appreciated! -B

(PS…also, in regards to updating the software, i read that u should back up your site before doing this….if anybody has a quick and easy solution to back up my site and update it to the newest software, that would be much appreciated as well! )

Hello,

I a using cool video gallery plugin version 1.7 in my website.To make it play fast, I have compressed all the videos in .flv format. They are playing fine at desktops.

But when I want to play them in mobiles te videos having .mp4 extensions are playing smoothly but .flv video are not playing.

If we take the case of galaxy cellphones both(.flv and .mp4) are not playing.
Please Suggest if any js conflict issue or something else.

Revert ASAP
