Video site – how can I show videos authors appear in on the author page?

Hi there–

So I’m working on a video site right now where an admin account posts videos featuring multiple authors. Each of these authors post their own articles, but the videos that they are featured in are posted from one central admin account.

I’m looking for a way/plugin to display all the videos they appear in in their author page beneath the articles they’ve written, similar to Cracked’s author pages.

“Co-Authors Plus” is no longer a supported plugin. I was considering tagging the videos with the featured authors and on the author page displaying all the posts from their respective tag, but I’m not sure if that would mess with SEO and search results (I don’t want both their author page and tag page to appear in Google).

Thanks for your help if you can!

EDIT: To clarify, I know how to implement the tag method I mentioned above. I’m more concerned with if this would mess with SEO/search results, or if there is a plugin or method available that would be easier!

Is this possible to make a video website in WordPress, i have a shared host-gator hosting. can i make? i also see other YouTube clone themes but they are php script and i dnt know about how to work in php. If i install the flow player in my hosting and just upload a videos it will work on site. is this work idea?
if yes then how can i do this>?

Premium Multimedia theme vs. photo theme

I am thinking of purchasing a theme for a website that will showcase videos.

I plan to use a clean layout photographic-type theme where you can click on the image to open the video clip.

Would the process of embedding videos be the same as embedding images and would such a theme normally lend itself well to the task of being used as a video site rather than photo-based site? i.e would there be technical or loading speed issues I should be aware of?

any feedback appreciated.

YouMadeMeDoIt.com is a site that focuses on showcasing videos. I am using a pretty old theme on this site, but I like it for its simplicity.

but my question is could I use wordpress for this, because I think they have a wordpress site and the main feature we want is to be able to show 3 or 4 videos how they have here going across and the actual video views or plays. Could something like this be easily done with a plug-in or something? because I’ve built a site with joomla, but I don’t think there’s an easy way to do what we want to do with the 3 or 4 videos going across showing the stats. We also want to be able to add more sections to the top menu bar is this easily done also?
