I just want to ask if there is anything that I’m doing wrong on this page? Because whenever i try to embed a video it it saves and updates the post/page. The page is basically related to Netsuite Erp, I’m getting an error with Request Timeout.
How can i resolve this problem?
]]>I’ve found that smartphone users can only see the embedded video in my post if they use ‘desktop mode’, and then top to allow.
The video works fine on laptop/desktop, but fails for smartphone users.
Sucks.
Any advice would be most welcome !

Basically I’ve followed this tutorial, and instead of one of one of the text fields in the form, I’ve put a document upload.
On the Results page, I want the parameter to fetch the video uploaded by the user, so it’s a card, with a custom video uploaded by the user.
I’ve tried using the video widget parameters, short code and HTML, but can’t seem to make it work.
Any help would be appreciated!
]]>I use Soho-Lite, I personally LOVE this theme but it doesn’t seem to compatible with Elementor (?).
When I use Elementor to embed Youtube videos, it doesn’t show up on the page after I update it. When it’s on edit mode, they’re all there.
So I tried without Elementor, that seems to do the trick.
But I really want to use Elementor because of the column and font functions and whatnot.
Is there anyway to fix this?

I never had a problem in embedding video: just copy the link from youtube or Vimeo et violà.
From a couple of days in one instance, I can’t embed video: when I paste the link I only find the url in the page or post (last week everything was working).
As this is the only instance on that specific server I check on another server and no problem.
So I installed a fresh instance of WP on that server: same problem.
I checked apache and php conf comparing with others server and everything seems to be ok.
I also checked the firewall: no error, no alerts, no rules to block or limit traffic from lan to wan. So I tried to connect via lynx from bash to youtube o vimeo: no problem.
Last chance: I try to update and restart server… The problem is still there.
I really to know where to check o how to solve this problem: please any one could be so kind to give me any help? I’m a little bit hopeless.

It’s been working out of the box when I first installed it, so I never paid much attention to the details. Recently, when I switched from static, self-hosted to Amazon S3 streaming for one of my products, I needed assistance, and I also found out that the German translation was lacking. This is when the support kicked in. Eduard and Martin provided top-notch support, which prompted me to help them out with the German translation.
The player/plugin itself offers a host of features, and leaves next to nothing to be desired. Self-hosted, Amazon S3, Cloudfront, Vimeo or Youtube? No problem. Static or streamed? No problem. Adapt the color-scheme to match your theme? That, too. Ads, pre-roll or post-roll? Not a problem either. Even popups are possible.
All in all a superb plugin that is well worth the money. Highly recommended.
