Vertical scroll widget is very buggy

We would like to use your “Vertical Scroll” widget for an upcoming client site. We’re looking for a full page height “slides” scrolling feature with a sidebar dot menu.

However, the “vertical scroll” widget of your plugin is very buggy with gesture scrolling (mouse pad swipe). We would like to know if there are any workarounds or updates planned.

Some of the issues (desktop, Chrome):

One has swipe down multiple times to move to the next section.
Often there are random jumps between sections.
Different scroll effects don’t work e.g. parallax etc.
“Check Content Overflow” disables the dot menu.

We have not even tested on mobile properly due to all of these issues, maybe there’s more.

Vertical scroll widget

Hello,
I have added the vertical scroll widget to my site. When I open a new tab next to Elementor’s tab on Chrome to test it, it looks great.
The problem is that when I try to open this page anywhere outside the WordPress environment the “Dots” disappear.
The sections (containers) are there. The “Dots” are missing and the
“Full section scroll” setting is not working.

Is there a setting that I am missing?

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I’ve been experiencing with the vertical scroll on my website. I’ve followed all the necessary steps and sizing guidelines, but the sections within the vertical scroll appear cut in half on mobile devices, making it unresponsive and unusable for my visitors.

I have tested the website on multiple mobile devices and browsers, and the problem persists. It looks like the website section has gone up.

When ‘Stretch Section’ enabled causes mobile vertical scroll to be jumpy

On desktop everything works fine.. but when i scroll down the page to the next section, i have “stretch section” enabled. and on mobile android on chrome browser if i scroll up in between while scrolling down it will jump down ..then if i switch directions the same thing happens.. i noticed when i disable “stretch section” it will not jump around when scrolling..i also noticed when i select “elementor canvas” on template for page attributes then it will not jump around either, but problem then is that the menu is missing. please see the link i provided.. cant seem to figure it out..i have disabled all plug ins and this issue still persists.. i also narrowed it down to selecting “strech section” which causes this issue.. not sure why.. i disabled animations.. no change.

The documentation makes it easy to use and it is one the most thought out addons for Elementor that I have used.

Hello Again.

First of all thank you for those wonderful addons.

I was using the vertical scroll widget fine until now. My last support question was even about making a smooth scroll when clicking on the anchors that you fixed with the following line:
html {
scroll-behavior: smooth !important;
}
Which worked fine at the time (It was on 9.12.20)

Yesterday a meeting with the customer and all the vertical scroll stopped working – going down by few pixels…

Hi Team,

What a wonderful widget! I have only some minor issues with it:

1. For mobile responsiveness, content from a section does not appear if the section is longer than the screen (as seen from the 4th section on mobile)

2. I have enabled a nav menu, however, the navigation is not smooth as it would be on a normal single-page website. What I mean is that, instead of jumping straight to a section, it does not scroll down automatically when clicking the buttons on Nav Menu.

Could you provide me with some assist?

Vertical scroll has gap between sections

Hi everyone, I can’t fix the gap that I have on top of my page and between sections with the Vertical Scroll. The page I created is an Elementor Canvas, the sections saved as Elementor template have all Content boxed, minimo heigh vh 100, no gap. What’s wrong with that? I really can’t find the solution.
