How to left align vertically the icon list?

Hello everyone,

On the Industries webpage https://guardianchem.com/#, after clicking the ‘Industries’ on the top menu, there is a icon list. However, the ‘Oil & Gas’, ‘Building & Facility Management’, and ‘Manufacturing’ are no left aligned vertically with ‘Mining’, ‘Heavy Equipment’, and the others.

I tried different ways including adding a CSS, but none of them worked.

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Hello, any ideas on following?

My slider (Master Slider) contains images of various sizes and it shows nicely, but during sliding from one image to another, the top of my images remain still on the same level. When they are bigger, the slider doesn′t center my images inside the block, their top remain on the same level and they are getting bigger downwards. Basically, they have various center points during transition/scaling.

I would love to customize it via CSS, does somebody know how?

I want to reproduce this table layout using GeneratePress block and grid.

This is the result I have.

Not bad, but why is my text NOT vertically aligned?
I set the vertical aligment to Center for both the Container block and the Grid.

Dropdown Vertical Alignment in Menu

I’m evaluating your product and hope to use it. I want to use the dropdown from my menu. However, the box is aligned just below the other items in the menu line. I currently have the feature deactivated but you can see a screenshot at: https://hdnaturefootage.net/sample-page/

I know a bit of CSS but not sure how to fix my issue in the code box. How can I get the dropdown box to align vertically with the text in my menu row?

Stretch Vertical Alignment – doesn’t work on iPad Safari

Hi There, I’m having an issue with Safari on an iPad when testing a layout with SiteOrigin Page Builder.

My row has 2 columns, one with a SiteOrigin Editor widget and the other with just a background image in the column cell. I have set my row to use ‘Stretch’ as the ‘Cell Vertical Alignment’ option.

I have set the background image in the empty cell to use ‘Cover’ so it always fills all the space.

On all browsers the background image will stretch to fill the vertical space to match the content in the Editor widget. EXCEPT Safari, which seems to set the image to something like ‘Contain’, only filling the horizontal width.

Is there any workaround for this?

Section block vertical alignment setting?

I have a 2-column section. Image in the left column a couple paragraphs of text in the right column. I want the image to be vertically centered/middle aligned with the content of the column on the right. The default is top-aligned.

How can I change this? If you don’t currently support this, you should.

The vertical alignment of the placeholder and text of single line fields depends on the device and browser. At an extreme, the native Safari browser on a first generation Apple iPhone SE shows both the placeholder and the entered text about a half-line below the field’s box, cutting off the bottom half of each. Other combinations are less severe and many, such as the Edge browser on a Windows 10 PC, have no issue.

Is it possible to control the vertical alignment and, perhaps, font size of the placeholders and text? Do you believe changing these might correct the issue while not affecting the other devices and browsers?

Menu positioning

While I think this should be a relatively easy thing to fix, I’ve worked on it for hours with no luck…

I am new to WordPress and to web design generally, but I’m learning quickly.

In my Oceans WP theme I have a main nav menu in the header. But rather than have it vertically aligned in the center of the header, I want it to be aligned to the bottom. I just like the way it looks better, particularly when the menus drop down.

Right now, I’ve cheated by using custom CSS to give the #site-navigation-wrap a margin-top of 60 px. It looks OK until you shrink the window, and then the logo pushes the menu down.

Surely there must just be some way to align the text down in the element? I’m flummoxed.
