Shortcode "Quote" marks not working

Hiya,

After updating to WP4.4 we’ve notcied that the ” marks in our shortcode aren’t working properly. For example this shortcode from BGMP Plugin which worked properly in 4.3.1 now has the first ” mark of each statement is now a curly quote facing the = sign instead of the content:

[bgmp-map categories=”scotland-central-region-golf” center=”crieff” zoom=”9″]

In order to fix this I had to rewrite this shortcode in my text editor (Notepad++) and then cut and paste it back into the page. If I tried re-writing the shortcode in WP it did the same thing as above.

We use TinyMCEAdvanced but had it deactivated when testing in order to make sure it wasn’t causing the issue. We’re using a lot of shortcode on a couple of multilingual sites with 4 languages which means I’d have to do all the maps in all the languages manually.

We’ve also talked with Ian from BGMP and we’re confident it’s not a problem with that plugin. We’ve seen this before with older versions on WP when cutting and pasting content into the WP visual editor from word.

Has anyone else noticed this issue and if so do you have a fix other than manually re-doing all the shortcode?

Not blocking country for Backend in Particular Server

Hi There!

Probably I am missing something… I got this plugin working in two webpages of my own for testing using wordpress 4.4 and 4.3.1, worked just fine!

When I installed in my clients sever it did not block… for some reason. I would like to know how is it done internally. Would that be a file permission problem? Does the plugin uses .htaccess?

Any help are welcome!

How to change password in version Version 4.3.1?

Looking to change my password to something that I can recall. However, the instructions shown in current answers all lead to the same location… in user, edit, type in new password (twice) and save.

All very well and good but this option in Version 4.3.1 no longer exists, so where do I now change my password?

Enable multisite on currently running sites

Hello Team,

We are having a main website, say https://abc.com running with version 4.3.1 and installed many plugins, it is a live site now. Also having some subdirectories like https://abc.com/view , https://abc.com/view1 and these are also with version 4.3.1. Now we would like to enable multisites for our main wordpress installation. So we would like to know whether it is possible to enable multisite with currently running wordpress website.

Gravity Forms Radio Button Styling

The left side of the if my radio buttons are slightly cut off. I can fix this, on my staging site, which has wp version 4.2.2 with the following code:

.gform_wrapper.gf_browser_chrome ul.gform_fields li.gfield input[type="radio"] {
  margin-left: 5px !important;
}

BUT my live site, which is has wp version 4.3.1 won’t register any of my attempted styling for the radio buttons.

Help?
