With default values set, shoppers can add the variable product to the cart without having to make a selection first.
https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#setting-defaults
I would like to ask if there’s a way to disable this behavior?
In other words, is it possible to configure whether to use “select options” or “add to cart” in cases when a product has default values set for all its options?
For context, here’s an earlier thread from two years ago that seems to ask for the opposite, so it looks like it might have been a relatively recent change:
I understand that you want to change the?

?button of your variable products to Add?to Cart
?that will automatically select a default variation, is that correct?
Thank you.
]]>I have a product with variants and I would like to display those on sale variants of products. However, variant products on sale are not included in your plugin and aren’t displayed with the following command: [woopspro_on_sale_products_slider]
Is there any way to also display variant products beaing on sale?
]]>Hello, as you can see from the image, I would like to change the layout. Not sure if a CSS job. Any advice on this? We have a lot of woocommerce plugins and the theme is custom that I’ve inherited so quite difficult to do. Thanks
]]>Basically, 90cm and 100cm length variants are only for 3cm width belts and 105 and 115cm are only for 4cm width belts. The colour variation can be for any of them.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
]]>I have imported over 500 products via csv file. As a result many products have various sizes , mugs, tshirts, etc. Because of that I have over 60 size value on product page sidebar taking huge space all the way down, check https://i.postimg.cc/PJQs47NC/Capture.png . I need to show maximum 10 values and ‘View More’ option that will extend either fully or better with another 20 values etc. Is there any option or plugin to achieve that ?
Thank you!
]]>I’m currently facing a recurring issue in a WooCommerce store that I cannot explain. Users are purchasing items that are currently out of stock.
Background: We are a service provider managing a WooCommerce store for one of our clients. For some products, we have added additional variants where we offer items in a different quality condition (e.g., used). We manage the available quantities via the WooCommerce REST API. Additionally, the store is connected to Billbee, which handles the stock of the “classic” variants. Our variants are set up as normal variants in the shop with the following settings:
Product Data:
Product Data > Variants (see also the response from the REST API):
The Issue: From our logs, shop display, the REST API, and Billbee, I have confirmed in several scenarios that the stock was at 0, yet a customer could purchase this variant, causing the stock to drop to -1. I cannot replicate such a purchase myself, as I always receive appropriate messages in the shop on the product detail page: “Out of stock” and “This product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.” when trying to add it to the cart.
My Thoughts: Could it be possible if JavaScript is blocked or if the item is displayed as available through Google/other search engines? Has anyone encountered a similar issue before? Is there anything I might have missed checking? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Best regards,
Jonas

If NONE of these images are used anywhere, Media Hygiene will report the image as 1 orphan, but make mention of (eg) ‘thumbnails’. BUT – as soon as I use one ‘instance’ of this image, it is no longer reported at all. I was hoping your plugin would identify the fact that 4 out of 5 variants of the ‘base image’ are still orphans. This is especially useful when I upload larger images – eg, a 3000x image. This will generate 8 variants, and the one used by WP is never the largest – so the 3000x ‘original’ is really just a waste of space on the server. I want to identify these unused variants and get rid of them.
]]>We use the Analytics Variants data to view a report and there seems to be an issue with it reporting all of our variants data. For example, if i cross compared the period we are looking at, it seems to be omitting one of our SKUs from the report. However these are both products with variants.
On the reports main report page however, for the same period, it is reporting the sales of both products.
Please can you advise.
Thanks
