It would be great if you could add an option to rename to a UUID.

If I open a site link from the customizer in WordPress, so it keeps the “/?customize_changeset_uuid=…” parameter, the Google SiteKit plugin has a critical error:

Tested on most recent updated WordPress 6.4.2 and all plugins updated with newest SiteKit version (1.116.0).

Site Health status is Good on a site that has this error right now.

So far, adding the “customize_changeset_uuid” URL parameter with a valid UUID is the ONLY way to trigger this critical error, and SiteKit plugin is the only plugin that appears in my debug has being part of the issue.

Content Toggle: All UUID disappeared in the attributes since last update

Hello,

I contact you because since the last update of the plugin, I noticed that you removed all the UUID in the content toggle:

the attributes such as aria-controls in the content toggle
class name

Before you got:

aria-controls="ub-content-toggle-panel-0-{UUID}"

Now you get:

aria-controls="ub-content-toggle-panel-0-"

I think it was unintentionnal, but it creates unexpected behaviour on my side as now I cannot distinguish any content toggle.

Can you correct that?

UUID Error with WPS Hide Login

Beyond looking at DASHBOARD> SETTINGS> GENERAL and making sure the two URLs are correct and match for most configurations.

You have to look at your Active Plugin’s. Specifically, the “WPS Hide Login” plugin, in my case.

During WP updates, or perhaps Plugin updates? My “WPS Hide Login” plugin settings, sometimes reverts back to default. I have to go to DASHBOARD>PLUGINS>WPS HIDE LOGIN>SETTINGS. Then remove the default word LOGIN, in the LOGIN URL data field. Then populate that data field with my secret word/login location.

I have multiple sites on the same hosting account, running the same themes and plugins. Why some update without problems, and one is singled out to go back to default randomly is beyond my skills. I just figured out how to make things work until the next time one of them randomly do this sort of thing,

Non-Existend Changeset UUID

I have had continuing problems with error message Non-Existend Changeset UUID Especially when trying to do edits from DASHBOARD> APPEARANCE> CUSTOMIZE. It also gives me the same error from DASHBOARD> YOAST SEO> GENERAL and attempting to run the optimizer after new updates.

The topic keeps getting closed and was unhelpful to me. This may benefit others?

I finally found my issue with this randomly happening on “Self Hosted WP” sites. Multiple sites, same host, same themes and same Plugins. One site of multiples, would be randomly singled out. Seems to happen after what appear to be otherwise successful WP version updates. Just occurred with WP 6.3 on one site, not my others.

My Trouble and the fix:

lmfwc_get_license_meta /lmfwc_update_license_meta not working with UUID Example

Hello,
I’ve been trying to follow the example ‘Validating custom request data’ from the License Manager documentation. The UUID seems to be working however to activate the license, if I send the same UUID value, it still activates. lmfwc_get_license_meta does not seem to be working. Also, is there an example somewhere of how to use lmfwc_update_license_meta for when the user wants to remove an existing license/machine association?

Can I use UUID (create a serial number) and integrate with Contact Forms 7 ?

I want to be able to generate a unique serial number for a user who has just bought software on my site.
I think UUID might be the way to go.

Is this possible to integrate into Contact Forms 7 ? And any tips on how to do that would be appreciated.

Boilerplate for custom field type (UUID field type)

Hi everybody,

I’m struggling to create a simple field type for PODS that would automatically generate a read-only UUID v4 code.
I cannot find updated documentation on how to develop custom field types, and the only ones I found online (address / google maps) do not seem compatible with the latest version of PODS.
Can anyone point me to some updated resource or a boilerplate for a custom field type ?

Cannot Preview WP Themes

Greetings:
I wanted to tackle a long-time WP issue that’s happened on my WP site, which is that in WP Admin in the Themes area I’m unable to preview themes before deciding if I should fully activate it.

Whenever I tried a preview, I would get the following error:

“Non-existent changeset UUID.”

I have read instructions on fixing this in Settings–>General, indicting that the web address in both fields should be the same. But because of how I had originally set up the site, For the WordPress URL, which is velanche.com/wordpress, removing “WordPress” will break my ability to access the site as an admin, or that’s what I’m lead to believe.

Any assistance on this would be appreciate it; thank you.

Nimble UUID/Unable to reconcile page url

I have Nimble installed on several sites, and they all seem to be having similar issues.

Some, I cannot even login, because it changes the URL of the page from it’s actual build page.

Some, I cannot make changes using the customizer because it has a UUID error – again, issues with the URL. Troubleshooting isn’t working.
