I have trouble getting access to my website admin …../wp-admin. The site has been passive for a number of years, but now it is time to go back and continue the development. The problem is that when I use my old (not operative anymore) email I don’t get the new password as it is sent to the old mail….

When somebody tries to register in my website they receive this error message, but when I go check if the user was made it was. This also happens in checkout when they press place order it gives them this message but the actual order went through. I have tried everything and I cant find a way to fix it. Im hoping you do because im desperate. I would really appreciate any help.

I just went to check my online backups. They have been failing for 6 weeks! The error says that the username and password are not found. But I just doublechecked my online account and re-entered my username and password. I ran a manual online backup and it says it was successful and stored as today’s date. But in the Backups section of my account online it only shows the backup from 6 weeks ago. I can find no where in the plugin where I can check the username and passwords or any other settings. Help!

I try to install plugins and themes, but then I am asked about hostname, username and password.. Whatever I fill out there, it isnt right. Can anyone tell me:

1. What should I fill out at hostname
2. Which combination should I fill at username and password? Should that be of WP of my hostingcomplany or what?

Cant figure this out, please help..

Hi,

I just upgraded to 2.7.1 and my blog is up and running – BUT for some reason I get the following errors everytime I click on an audio file:

1. It asks for ftp username and password and if user clicks on ‘cancel’ it gives the following message: “530 Please tell me who you are”. When clicking on ‘OK’ – it stops loading the audio file.

Can anyone help me how to solve this issue?

Hi!

I’ve been a user of wordpress for a couple of months now and everything had been fine up until now! A few days ago however, I’ve had problems entering my website admin! For some reason or another, WordPress keeps losing my password, and although I’ve only had one, it is no longer accepted! I keep resetting it…then put my habitual password back in…it works for a couple of tries…then gets refused again! As if someone was erasing it…or preventing me from entering my own website admin…very weird!!!

Any ideas on the matter????

cannot download theme

On the URL above I have been trying for two days to login so that I can download a theme template and begin to construct my blog. I am using the username and password sent to me my wordpress. In fact, I reset the password several times and in every case it says Incorrect Password.
I went back to trying admin and each of the several passwords I’ve been sent, as well as three different ones I selected myself somewhere during the process, and either get a Unknown username or Incorrect password.
Can you please help?
