I am working on creating a calendar that will serve as an equipment reservation/scheduling widget, where members of the team can enter info about what hardware they are reserving and how long they need it for.
I was wondering if there is a way to automatically approve any event submitted by a user, since the web server we use is on company intranet and users are authenticated. Currently, it seems like users can submit events but an admin has to then approve that event – is there some way I can do away with this and make it so any submitted event automatically goes to the calendar?
Thanks!
]]>I use a Javascript debounce.io script across my website to validate against bad emails on form submissions. It searches for all fields with the attribute type=”email” and name=”email”.
Since your form uses “ll_email” values/label it won’t trigger Debounce.
Any chance you can change the type=text for email to type=email in the form so Debounce (and probably other email validators) can verify the email address? That would seem the easiest way to fix without needing to change your string values?
Thanks,
Ray
I have been impressed with Business Directory plugin, but I am looking for something that does not seem to be available.
I allow users to submit listings on my website using BDP. Is there a way to add the user’s name that submits the listing to the listing, so that other people looking at the listing know who submitted it?
Thanks
]]>I have the user front-end sumbission form set up with 2 multi-select fields – one for the event type and another with custom values.
I have now noticed that when using it on a mobile the drop down says “0 selected” even though options have been chosen. The pop up to select options works and I can tap on them but they do not appear once chosen.
I have tested it on 3 mobiles and it only works on a small screen Nokia. It does not work on my primary Samsung S10+ or a Motorola G5 I also use for testing. Turning the screen landscape on these phones also does not fix the problem. It works fine on an iPad and PC.
Do you have any suggestions to fix this and is it a known issue?
Thanks!
]]>I am trying to launch a platform for independent instructors & trainers. I would need the following from Booking Calendar.
As far as I know, using Booking Calendar instructors can log in (I will use Ultimate Member plugin), and publish their availability in their own profile page. Users will see a calendar on the instructor’s profile page with his availability and the booking form.
So far, so good. My doubt is: Can I show a common calendar for all instructors, so that users do not have to check their availability one by one? Or a search function selecting all instructors available on a given date & location?
Thanx in advance
