User signup, but no user name and no access

Lately, about one of every ten signups has a successful sign up, but there is NO user name in the “orders” list and they don’t get access even though they pay and I see success and I do receive the payment.

I don’t think they are signing up without a user name, because I can find their user account that they created with the user’s help, but the user account will not be granted access to the paid portion of the website and there is no user name listed in the orders category. If you check the order status in PMPRO, you see success but under user name it will say [none].

This is very random, and it happens about once out of every ten signups. Any ideas on what is causing this so I can find a fix for it?

Hello!

This plugin is extremely powerful but I have a specific question that I am unable to find a direct answer to…

We would like to setup a page that will feature downloadable pdfs or a nested page turning function.

First, can we setup a custom user role where it is the only role that can access this parent page and potentially child pages?

Second, can we create a custom user sign-up form that ONLY allows site visitors to become a user for this specific role?

Random user sign ups

My site is inactive, there’s hardly anything on it yet and it’s in construction mode. When you go onto the site you just see a coming soon page. There’s no where for people to sign up but in the admin area I am seeing over 400 people signed up with customer roles alongside myself as administrator. How is this possible?

Error establishing a database connection on login for user

This has been getting at me for a while, but i have a site and when a user signs up, they get a confirmation email, they click the link to activate, then they go to my site, and copy the temp. password and try to login, when they get to USERNAME.MYSITE.COM/WP-ADMIN or even USERNAME.MYSITE.COM it comes up with “Error establishing a database connection”
