Toolbar is too big and gets in the way

Though the toolbar is nicely positioned in this comment field, when working in the block editor, the toolbar is so big and cumbersome that it obscures the previous paragraph or content.

We need to be able to float the bar wherever we want it and lock it there. Or mount it to the sidebar.. At least we should be able to close it or minimize it to get it out of the way. Though I can see some nice uses of the toolbar, they should be opt-in, not default.

Ideally, you would attach the toolbar toggle to the context menu and allow us to show the toolbar or hide it by right-clicking. It kind of duplicates the features of the block panel on the right of the editor window anyways–I’d much prefer that as an option that constantly having to move a block that hides 3 lines of input because it’s just too big

Maybe allow it to easily be themed so your theme can adjust the way it looks and behaves.

Writing to user-settings.php is not a good idea

I have noticed that the plugin writes its own file user_settings.php. That is not a good idea. Please change the location to something like wp-content/uploads/adaptative-images/. Plugin directories should be for plugin files, not settings.

User settings for a Consent offers no way to revoke or block the cookie…?

Ok so I am understanding most aspects of this plugin and think it’s super great, however upon setting up a Consent for Google Analytics (added the script everything is fine there, it was added to every page as it should) however … when the cookie bar appears there is no place or way for a visitor to block or ‘not’ allow the cookie; like in my case there is no way for the User to block the Google Analytics script from running, or to ‘change their mind’ like they are supposed to be able to do. See link below that shows in the user settings for that specific consent – to not be able to change anything…thought that was the point of the Consent…?

First of all, I can’t find a way to search this forum to see if this topic has already been addressed.

Secondly, when using the Email Users, User Settings to do bulk updates, after about 100 updates (I have to step through the pages 20 users at a time and we have 500+ users to update) I get the message below. Is this a setting that needs to be changed for Email Users? In WordPress? In our GoDaddy domain?

My Account link in profile problem

The plugin is great – I am evaluating for a project before buying the various plugins we require.

I have configured the settings correctly however, when a registered user accesses their profile, in the settings (accessed by the ‘cog’ icon) menu the link to “My Account” is not working properly. When clicked the page constantly refreshes.

Help please, I am ready to purchase the add ons required and need an answer quickly.

Adding New Markers (User Settings)

Our site uses your Maps widget to show distribution points, which are added over time as new distribution points become available. I’ve created an additional WordPress user (an Editor), who does not need access to the full Administrator’s dashboard-backend of the site, to manage the new additions and creating new markers for the map, but noticed that the GME entry on the left of the dashboard is gone under the Editor login, leaving him unable to add new markers or edit any of the exiting (created) map’s settings.
Q: Is it only the WP Administrator who can add/edit maps and markers? Is there no option for lower ranked users (Editors or Authors) to edit or add anything to the map/widget? I would like to have the Editor-user add makers and categories to a created map.

Canno access the User settings page

Just installed the latest version on WordPress 4.4 and when I click on the User Settings link in the menu it just loads all users details.

Clicking Email Users comes up with Individual or Group messages.

Sending to Users seems fine

Sending to Group seems fine

Clicking User Settings just loads all the users

Hope there is a solution?

ERROR webpage not displaying

i set up desertsinthedistrict.com about three years ago. i finished working on it after a few months and thought that i could just let it run, thinking it would update automatically, etc. I’ve thought id received emails about the site updating, etc. but i cannot access the page. it looks like a blank blue page, with the name of the site and it asks for my password, but i cannot login with my password. and i cannot access the user settings or anything to try to rest the password.

help?

When I change the details of a user account (i.e. the e-mail address) from Users -> Select a user -> Edit and hit the update button, I get the following errors:
