I’m quite new with WordPress and the plugins. I’m a bit stuck right now. So hopefully you can help me out.
I created in the members plugin new subscribers for our portal on our website. When a login is created for this member, password changed etc. They can’t login. Just tried it with my own private e-mail address. Then I got the notification: member not found (in Dutch: “Gebruiker niet gevonden”). Is there anyone who can help me to tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks a lot.
Best Regards,
]]>I am struggling with the Forgotten password/reset. When a user enters their email address to reset their password all that comes back is “Either the username or email address do not exist in our records.” However, if they try to use the forgot username, and enter the same email address it finds the user and sends the email.
I know the username/email works as I actually know the password for it, and can log in successfully.
Where/how do I debug this.
Thanks in advanced for your help!
]]>Recently we’ve had a lot of problems with resetting passwords and users ‘not being found’ at login – these users exist on the system (we have been logging them the attempts) tried a couple of changes but can see no reason for this to happening.
Solved the reset password issues that was caching – this we had for a while.
The user not found is worrying. We seem to have a lot of them, along with some ‘admin’passwords not being recognised – from time to time. Been through the logs – the ones on WP tell what has happened ‘user not found’ but not why.
PHP logs at the same time don’t reveal anything unusual.
Rest of the install is glitch free.
Any pointers appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
]]>WordPress also sends me an email that says:
Subject www.mydomain.ca: Post SMTP email error
You getting this message because an error detected while delivered your email.
For the domain: https://www.mydomain.ca
The log to paste when you open a support issue:
User not found
Thanks!
]]>So first of all this is a super plugin. The only Issue I currently have is that on the login page /client-login/
If the user enters an incorrect username then the page specifies user not found. Also security plugin like wordfence don’t apply the security lockouts or auditing to /client-login/
As a work around for this I need to use /wp-login/

Any ideas???

What’s up with it?
