I am new to workdpress so I am so sorry if this sounds crazy…but does anyone know of any website templates/themes where I can have the first page to be a log in page for guest to sign into. I am looking to build a website that my guest can sign in with an individual user name and password. Please any help or suggestions would be great.

I want to publish my own rss from SMF forum – but that smf forum have restricted access – which mean somebody must log in to see post and topics. I will gladly show “fragment” of all data under SMF (editorial board) but I don’t have option in your plug-in for writing my user name and password for accessing those rss which are hidden.

Is it possible to make something like that?

Is there any possibility to put all those on some page – on in some post like part of a code which will show all those from widget – but in page (post) – That way I can split different categories from smf into different pages (posts) under wordpress simple to allow people to see exactly what they want to see (for instance if I have different boards under smf for cars, yachts, airplanes and similar)

WP2.9.2 ‘media’ images not shown

I have newly installed a WordPress 2.9.2 ,
after uploading images (not shown), but the dialogue box: Meng ask me the ‘user name and password’ .
I tried several kinds of user name and password, such as: “admin of blog , FTP , and database …”, none was right .
What kind of “user name and password” is that then?
I checked the upload folder is a writable permissions -777
Blog without images , does not right to me .
Confused .
Please help .

Can’t change Administrator Functions

I don’t even know where to start. Our old webmaster started a blog for our website. I posted on it maybe 2 times 2 years ago. I can log into it through my account. However, she is no longer with us, and I don’t have her log in information, so I can’t log in as an administrator. Additionally, we switched web hosting companies and I don’t know if our blog was ever transferred. There’s no link to it through our site, but I can type the URL in the address bar and see it. So…how can I get our blog back?

I have a blog that I have not logged into for months. I decided it was time to do something with the blog, only I can not find the log in info. I can not remember my user name or even which email is attached to this blog! I tried using the recover password feature but I need to know the User, which I do not!! Any ideas on what I should do??
