Alle diese Shortcodes klappen vorzüglich, doch wie die selbst angelegten User Fields (oder gleich die ganze Feldgruppe) so anzeigen, dass das jeweilige Mitglied diese wenigstens sehen kann?

Let custom roles see “admins only” field groups in dashboard

Hi – it seems that only users with Editor and Admin role can view the “admins only” user field groups and fields, no matter what capabilities they are assigned. This is for a site where the membership manager is a custom role created in URE with specific access in the back end, including the PMPro options for editing members, exporting members and orders, etc. But they cannot see the custom user field groups that are set to “Yes (only admins)” for “show fields on user profile”.

I cannot make that user an Editor as they would have too much back end access.

Is there a filter or action hook that could allow a specific user or custom role to access these field groups?

User Fields

Some user fields are not displayed –
1) Billing Phone – not displayed on Recurring Orders.
2) Custom created User Fields (Extra fields) – not displayed on user Email Template – Checkout Payd (is only in the Admin Email).

Cannot find plugin “Cimy User Extra Fields”

Hello, I’ve had to reinstall WordPress for development purposes on my PC. I’m now trying to get this development site as close as possible to my production site.

My production version uses the plugin “Cimy User Extra Fields” so I also need to reinstall this on my PC version, however I cannot find this plugin when I use the add plugin button. I only find 4 plugins, one of which claims to be compatible with “Cimy User Extra Fields”.

Your help forum says to directly access the plugin website in case of a problem with a specific plugin but I tried that by clicking “Visit plugin site” from my production site at the above link and received the message

Check if there is a typo in www.marcocimmino.net.

Can you help me? Does this plugin still exist? Is it no longer approved? Is there a different one which is recommended.

I would very much like to continue to use this plugin if possible as part of my website uses the data it stores in the database.

If the “Update existing users?” field is set to No, are the related fields below it null/void or will they still be acted on? These include:

Update emails
Update roles for existing users
Never update passwords

If so, I recommend hiding those additional fields when the top field is set to “No”. It can be confusing by giving the user an indication that those fields will be enacted upon if set to “Yes”.

Field Privacy by user selection

Hi, after registration, when user is editing its own profile fields, I want that selected some fields’ privacy may control by user. for example we have Alumni and Member users, user can choose the privacy, Everyone, Member, Alumni or nobody

Custom User Fields NOT WORKING

I cannot add any new user field group or field in the settings dashboard. I just click the add button and nothing happens. Even if I change the text of an existing group (there is only one group made so far) it does not allow me to save changes, the save changes button is greyed out. Any idea how or why this might be happening and how to resolve it? I am up-to-date with all plugins and WP.

Essentially, nothing works on the user fields settings page of the plugin. Frustrating. I have tried multiple browsers too and it’s the same issue on Chrome, FFox etc

Please advise!

custom user fields and woo integration

This is about the custom user fields – so I’m posting this here rather than on the Woo Commerce Integration plugin forum. If the membership levels are set up as products in Woo Commerce (full integration), so all member data is being handled through WC, would that mean any custom user fields set up in PMPro would be ignored?
