Fields missing from CSV import

Hello,

Using ProfileGrid and RegistrationMagic together on my site.

My goal is to import a CSV format user list that is a purchased mailing list.

I experimented with the CSV export/import (ProfileGrid > Tools).

I exported my current user list of test records (no actual customers, yet).
Edited the list by adding one new entry, then imported the changed list.
The new entry appeared in the WP users and also a ProfileGrid profile. But it did not pick up the first and last name of the new user.

Question 1: What would prevent the new user first/last names in this CSV from being added?

Question 2: What controls which columns of user data are stored in the WP user database? Does this come from the RegistrationMagic form?

Question 3: If I use an imported list from elsewhere, how do I map the columns to match the fields in the user database?

Hi folks,

to be able to grant support agents temporary access to the (staging) site, I need (urgently) to add at least one more WP user. If I add one, the action is confirmed as successful. The new user doesn’t show up with the prior entered data but blank in the users list in WP, though. If I view/edit the user, my own (admin user) credentials appear instead of the new ones. In the database, I can see, the user’s got the ID 0, though the next ID would be 7.
What can I do about it?

Hi, Is it possible that during the WordPress registration that the plugin checks against the user database to make sure they are allowed to register? Our club has an excel file of members, and only these members should access the member side of the website. Currently, we manually check each registration and it’s slow and time consuming.

How can i add subscribers in wp users with a signup plugin?

I am using a plugin which creates its own list of subscribers but i want it to be merged with wordpress users database. I think with php i can add this feature that whenever someone successfully subscribe they are saved in both data bases.

Hi,
I intend to use EM with a membership plugin. This plugin can use the roles and capability in WP-user database. When registering new users, it can syn up with WP-user database. EM also has optional required logined user for booking (that is our use case). My question is does EM use WP-user database to register new users or it uses its own user database? If it uses its own user database, is there a way to syn it with WP-User database?

Add New Client page fails to load

Really interested in purchasing this plugin but can’t seem to test it out. Clicking “Add New Client” either times out or the page only partially loads.

I suspect the timeout may be due to the number of users we have in our WordPress user table (about 400,000). Error logs don’t show any PHP errors so it seems to be a database issue.

Anyone else experience this?

wordpress uers database deleted, any idea to restore that.

hello there

my wordpress website database wp-users deleted. now i am unable to access the site.
how do i restore that or any idea to login into the site?

i have backup database which is about 16 mb but its not uploading in localhost or live host. php.ini is edited to upload large files. but its same error . error notification in bellow

Import/Connect to external User DB

Hello,

I am trying to create a login page within our company’s WordPress site that is separate from the default WordPress login. I found that your plugin may help achieve this. The issue is we already have a user list that is stored in an external SQL database. I was wondering if it is at all possible to connect to an external database with your plugin. Every other plugin I have found overwrites the default WordPress login page.

The end goal is to use this new login page as the sole point of entry into the site.

Problem with "Register New Subscribers as Users"

Hi, I would like all new users added to the database, but would like to control whether they get an email and how that email looks. As of now, having that enabled generates a generic message from [email protected] (not a real email address) with generic text and a password/activation link. Where is that message coming from??? Can it be customized?

Or, is there an easier workaround for automatically adding newsletter subscribers to the user database.

I have a WordPress blog & have an Android & iOS App for the blog. Now I need to add My account feature into the app & wondering what’s the best way to get it done which doesn’t affect my future plans.

I Plan to use a custom database for user management for my iOS app & Android app (For the same blog). Here is the question & any kind of your advice would be appreciated:

Can I use custom database for user management of my WordPress blog.
If not, can I sync user table to & fro from custom database to existing WordPress database & vice-versa.

I need Single sign-on for all the platform (I also have a discourse forum) & if you can point me to right direction, it would be of great help.
