When installing UM on a site which previously allowed guest comments, then opening site registration for users to create an account, on the comments tab it says “This user has not made any comments” even for users who commented before with the same email address.
Is there any way to sync users’ comments if they create an account after commenting as a guest?
If not, could you consider adding this as a tool in future versions? A button to run a user sync which would find any comments by the same email address and add it to the comments tab of their new account.
Thank you.
]]>I’m currently building a web site for my photo club. In the photo galleries, I want the users to be able to navigate the gallery images in a lightbox and also to be able to add comments to the currently displayed image.
My idea is to have the lightbox displayed when the user clicks on an image in the gallery and, when he clicks again, to have the attachment page displayed, thus giving him the possibility to add comments. I’m not sure about how to do this.
Of course, i would be nice to have the possibility to add comments directly from the lightbox but I didn’t find one that allows this.
Any advice will be welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Can you please display the error in same page instead to go to new page?

]]>However – I need to allow my customers to write some comments about each and every item individually.
ANybody that access to that item could see the comments – but need to allow comments to be stored against the individual item in the catalog and edited by the customer.
Is there a way to have this added to the tool?
How would it be done?
Sorry – am not that techie when in comes to WP.

]]>It’s so close to being ready but I’ve hit a wall. I need help finding a good theme, Preferably free, that will allow me control over the background image, header, all that good stuff. While keeping it simple. It’s also a E-commerce site and I’d like to know how I would be able to make it where users could comment on products, add to shopping cart, save for later, etc… And can someone explain how it works do I need a shopping cart plug in no matter what plugin I use? What about order forms how does that info get to me?
