Replace underscore with hyphen on one part of a url

I’ve taken over managing this website and noticed a few pages with underscores in part of the url. I would like to change these to hyphens for better SEO performance. I’ve created the page “Case-Studies” but the individual case studies have been set up using some form of custom fields that means when the page if viewed the url is [Moderated: Redundant URL redacted] So think I need to change this using some code? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I made a clone of a development site for specific testing. The links on the forum pages still go to the site I cloned it from instead of the current site. How do I change them? I have tried looking at the database but cannot find where the links are stored.

I have a WP question hoping someone can point me in right direction.

I need to redirect my store customers to a specific country subdomain for all pages, posts, and products. The main domain and subdomain have the same content, so I only need to change the URL.

For Example: www.example.com main page www.example.com/page1 , www.example.com/product1

For US visitor: us.example.com main page us.example.com/page1 , us.example.com/product1

For US visitor: uk.example.com main page uk.example.com/page1 , uk.example.com/product1

Around 50 pages having “feed” and “swcfpc=1” not indexed

I run my own wordpress powered website confidentpersonality.com . For past few days I have noticed that many around 50 pages are not indexed and they have swcfpc=1 and feed in their urls. Now someone please help whether it will negatively affect my website or not and signal Google that this website content is low quality further more provide a solution to solve this. I am using generate best theme and cloudfare DNS and cloudfare super cache plugin.

Hi,

I have my blog on HTML. All pages end with the extension .html. I am using ShareThis as social sharing widget through embedded codes, and it is calculating the sharing counter data based on the URL structure. I am planning to move everything to WordPress, but, I am in a mess when regarding decision-making.

My pages have very good ranking on SEO. 90% of my posts rank on Page 1. I do not want to lose them. So my questions are:

If I move to WordPress, the URL will not have extension .html. Is it better in this case to use 301 redirect from old URLs to new URLs, and re-submit sitemap OR, it is better to add .html to have same URL structure in permalinks?
If I choose to not have .html anymore, will I lose ranking massively with 301 redirection from old URLs to new URLS or with time, Google will recognize I changed URLs and it will keep my ranking?
If I remove the .html extension, ShareThis social sharing will not give the same sharing counters, as currently, they are counting my links with the .html extension. By removing this extension, it will be like a new link to them, thus, my counter will be zero again. Is there a social share plugin where I can add custom counter number to start?
Overall, based on my case, what you would do to avoid SEO issues and avoid losing page ranking?

Potential Security Issue

In looking at the course page, if you click on the Instructor’s name it brings up their profile. However, the URL for the instructor’s profile is using the profile’s username/login ID. IMO, this is a potential security issue as it exposes the actual login ID to the public. I think the URL should be built using the profile’s “Display Name” or “nickname” instead. Do you think this could be updated to keep usernames from being seen on the front end?

Problem with urls generated by Converter for Media

My Google Search Console account is crawling many URLs like “wp-content/webpc-passthru.php” that seem to be generated by the WordPress Converter for Media plugin. In addition, low-quality backlinks appear on Ubersuggest that point to some of those urls. Why is it generating so many urls? Is there a way to resolve this in advanced settings?
