Problem with URL after deleting and recreating a page in WordPress

I’m facing an issue with assigning the correct URL to my new subpage in WordPress, and I’m using Elementor Pro. I previously created a page with the URL mywebsite.com/websites, which I deleted completely due to an issue with Elementor (the page is not in the trash). After creating a new subpage with the same name, WordPress assigned it the URL mywebsite.com/websites-2 instead of mywebsite.com/websites. When I try to manually change the URL, it still adds -2 at the end.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Checked the trash – the page has been permanently deleted.
Refreshed the permalinks in WordPress settings – this didn’t help.
I haven’t set up any manual redirects.

Despite this, I still can’t use the original URL mywebsite.com/websites for the new page. Has anyone encountered a similar issue and found a solution?

URL for pages have “create-your-website-with-blocks/bookings” in it.

So every time I select my main website Margoamala.com as the parent page for the rest of my web pages, they always end up having “create-your-website-with-blocks” — For example =

https://margoamala.com/create-your-website-with-blocks/bookings/

If I make a new page and don’t select Margoamala.com as tit’s parent page, that wording doesn’t show up.

I’d like to not have to redo all of my pages just to get rid of those words, and I’d also like to make have the parent pages intact for SEO purposes.

My QUESTION:

How can I get rid of these words of my current pages URL?!

When the same course has to be made available on different dates we had to create it as seperate events which is creating duplicate and non SEO friendly URLs.

For example:

https://bespokebeautyacademy.com.au/course/micro-needling-3/

Ideally we would like to have just one static URL per event (course) and whenever the course is made available on a new date. Is this possible?`

Google analytics reading URL’s wrong

This issue appears to be site-wide.
I have been using your free version for some time and have been pleased with the functionality of your plugin. Today though whilst checking over google analytics I have noticed that google is showing URS differently.
This is from Behaviour>site content>all pages.
Here are some examples:
Google. /checkout/th/
Google /th/checkout/th/
Website. /th/checkout/
Google. https://lightairthailand.com/prevent-corona-virus-spreading/th/
Website. https://lightairthailand.com/th/prevent-corona-virus-spreading/
When I expand the URL’s in google analytics they show the page does not exist.

They seem to be a bit jumbled on Google.
Can you advise

I created a social sharing module and chose “custom” under the icons and behavior so I could also add instagram. Under “pick social icons & set URLs for them, I select the social media platforms and type in the correct URLs: www.facebook.com/example, www.twitter.com/example, www.instagram.com/example and when I make the social share module go live with floating social, they link like this: www.companyname.com/www.facebook.com/example etc. Can anyone explain how to resolve the URL issue so it just directs to the actual social media platform pages?

Unable to login to my admin on www.remarpro.com

I started my site out on WordPress.com but it was too limited so I switched to www.remarpro.com hosted by Bluehost. Any time I try to visit or create a new site and I’m transferred to the login page to WordPress I can’t access anything. It’s either a blank screen with a single 0 or 404 Not Found. I have no idea how to fix the problem and only a vague idea of how to explain what I did wrong? (I’m no coder I understand very little of this). Basically I had finished up my theme, visited the site but it kept showing the old version I had created on wordpress.com, I thought it must’ve been an issue with the domain so I went to my settings-general and did a small change to the URL. It caused a minor problem so I went back to fix it to make sure they matched but then everything fell apart. I could no longer log back into www.remarpro.com through Bluehost.
I have since deleted that site through Bluehost in hopes of bypassing any coding I’d have to do to try and fix it (foolish of me to think that would work) but I’m using the same domain as I had for the last one (i’m not paying for another) and I still cant login to WordPress. I can get into wordpress.com just fine but not www.remarpro.com through my host site or otherwise.

Changing a temporary url

I hope someone can help please. I was given a staging url by our provider, I have finished the site build and now need to make the site live. I’ve tried changing the url’s by firstly changing the settings in the wp general settings and obviously ran into problems. I followed the codex guides (downloading files and databases, changing config.php, uploading files and database etc). There were 7 file transfer errors ((creating directories)) when I tried to upload the files back via filezilla and the was an issue with uploading the database into the new server.

However everything worked for a minute then logged me out and went back to 404.

So I’ve uploaded the original files back to the site, changed the urls back to the staging url within phpmyadmin and am hopefully back to square one without causing to many problems.

Can someone please walk me through how to do this properly?

I am having a problem to make customize URL as I want, although I know there are options like customize permalink /%postname%/ and how to remove wordpress or category from url.

But is there any option where I can make url as I want like below

www.example.com/residential/apartments/rent/downtown/listing101
www.example.com/commercial/warehouses/rent/airport-zone/listing102

so this URL is a clear path, It is providing a clear information

Any expert here?

Broken Media Images and Image Linking Issues

Good morning/day,

I will try and be as descriptive as possible so that you can understand my issues that have recently occurred in my WP admin area.

Have a few items that I am sure are related to each other. I am not a huge tech person, so hopefully the directions for fixes can be provided in easy to follow steps.
I am running WordPress 4.2.2 running classifiedstheme theme. www.panamaenglishserviceproviders.com

Issue #1: About 1.5 weeks ago I was previewing other themes to use (never activated any of the themes, just using the preview function). That is when I noticed an issue in my Media Library. Nearly all the images in the Media library are showing as broken…(about 95% are showing as broken) Some images I can click on and view, and some can even display in the media editor… some don’t do anything at all. But images are all appearing fine on the website and working 100% as far as I can tell.

Issue #2: When adding new images into the Media Library appears fine, however when I try to add a new image into a classified listing, I get strange message in the listing image url field saying ‘undefined,’. I have to manually load the image into the media library, then copy the image url and paste it into the classified listing image url field…

Issue #3: I discovered this the other day, probably related to these issues. Found the image links in the media library could be wrong… Here are image url examples:

I am very confused about these issues, but sure they are all related to one cause. I have deactivated all plugins, check the permalinks, deleted all the themes I had downloaded that I was previewing, consulted with Godaddy hosting technical support who were not able to assist, other than resetting permissions for the upload files and then referred me to WP Support Forums… I have been searching the support forums for any issues like this and found a few however many don’t seem to be resolved and are not quite the same as my issues here…

Can anyone assist me in these issues? And figure out why it happened? I think it might have had something to do with previewing the other themes broke something somehow??? Weird because nothing was published or activated… Everything was working fine before that…

Hello I have updated my wordpress to 4.2.2 via the plug in. Now when I go back into my website I have lost the feature slider and my urls were not working properly. This is my website url www.videocamerahirebrisbane.com.au can any one point me in the right direction of where I may have gone wrong. I just dont know where to begin to even look? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
