File Upload Too Large

I had an issue today after the update to Ultimate Member that I resolved after hours of trying to find it so thought I’d post here to help others avoid the aggravation.

I have 3 upload buttons on the profile form to allow admin to upload course certificates. It was working just fine prior to the upgrade but after the upgrade it kept saying that the file was too large.

I finally checked the form itself and on each of these upload fields it showed the maximum file size to be 0. No idea how it changed in all 3 fields but I deleted the zero to leave the maximum size blank and presto. It works again.

Issue with Yoast

I recently had an issue with a client site where all of sudden the Basic User Avatar upload field was not allowing files to be uploaded (no error message). They could be deleted, but not added from front end field. Could still be added as admin in editing user profile.

Through disabling/enabling plugins to find the conflict I found that Yoast SEO was the culprit. Not exactly sure the specific issue after trying to disable various settings on Yoast.

Because I didn’t want to lose Yoast or Basic User Avatar upload field, I found if I disabled Yoast on the page I had the upload field [basic-user-avatars] it worked again. Using this bit of code I was able to resolve the issue.

Hope it helps another. Or Stranger Studios can identify the issue. It’s a problem at least as of Yoast v20.8 and is still an issue with v20.13.

Upload File fields not working

I have 2 fields in this form that are not working. One allows for Word docs or PDFs, and the other specifies PNG or JPEG files. Neither are working.

since the last update to v4.0 my editors complained they can no longer upload images, i tried it myself and this is the error: (tons of these now in the Firewall log, everything works fine before update)

To deal with the matter I had to add all my editors to auto whitelist, which is dangerous. I hope you can fix this soon so we can go back to previous condition.

No docx or pdf attachment in email

I am having a problem with docx or pdf’s attachments not being uploaded with the job application submissions. I am using the latest version, 1.9.6. If a .txt file is attached, it will upload and the .txt file will appear with the job entry in the Dashboard. If i choose another tyye of file, .docx, .pdf, or .csv file, it is not attached, but a number is added to the details where the title and file is suppose to be. Also, I just noticed that in the screenshots in the Job entry section, there is a column for “Letter” and “Documents”. I do not have those columns available.

[U011] Upload may not have succeeded error message

In the middle of our uploads for a show, the entries are not working. I went in and tried it for one of our members, and I get the same problem.
The entry screen seems to work fine, but when we hit the submit button, there is an error page. It is a long narrow page that pops up on top of the upload page, with no address bar. It says:
“** Notice **
[U011] Upload may not have succeeded:”
and then our standard 404 message:
“Page Not Found
We’re sorry, but the page you are looking for isn’t here.”
—————————
down at the bottom is says: “Page will reload to show current status.”
but it does not reload.

Please advise.

I think with the last wordpress upgrade your plugin isn’t working. My background disappeared. I tried uploading the picture again and it still is defaulting to a distorted page. See quickcast: https://quick.as/b8PnhnOLg

HTACCESS File Not Uploading

Hello,

We have checked and cross-checked to be sure our HTACCESS file we’re uploading doesn’t have any syntax issue. We even found a syntax checker on the web to confirm.

The file gets uploaded and we get a notice the records have been uploaded.

However, when we check the redirection list, it is empty.

One note…where it says “Import Into” that drop down in our case is empty and a very short field. Not sure if there is something supposed to be here.

Cover Photo and Profile Pic Upload Trouble

I’m having troubles with my ultimate member accounts being able to delete, upload, and add pictures as their profile pictures and/or cover photos. Luckily I’ve found the issue and it is resolved when I deactivate woocommerce. I was wondering what we could do to fix this problem because in the near future I will need to sell things through my website platform. Thank you.

Can't publish, update pages and posts or upload new media

Hello guys,
The problem is only happening in my computer, so i presume that i did something but can’t even imagine what.

Here is a simple video of the problematic behavior

The project is installed local and whenever i try to update or even publish a post/page the wordpress refresh to the ‘All posts’ section and don’t update or publish. Delete page and posts is working.

If i try to upload a file the follow message is presented ‘Error in HTTP.’ and in the develop tool console:

I want to make clear that this behavior is only occurring in my computer and in this specific project. I am hopeless.

I already:
re-installed the project
deactivate any plugin
