At one point, I messed up my database by changing the MySQL password. But I eventually figured out the problem and changed it back. After that, I couldn’t get my website to load in Firefox. The admin panel -mostly- worked, but there were a few features not working correctly. And weirdly it worked normally on my phone (even on Firefox) and on another browser.

Eventually I tried updating WordPress. This caused it to consistently not load on any browser. So I restored from a backup that I created earlier today. Despite restoring all aspects, it still wouldn’t load in Firefox. I also tried deleting both of the new plugins. Eventually I figured out that it works if I turn off my ad blocker (AdBlocker Ultimate).?

This was never an issue until now, and I’m very concerned that it’s going to prevent others from viewing my website. What could be causing ad blockers to stop my website from loading?

I would like to avoid this happening again when I do update the live site, as is it taking quite a while to remove these folders. So my question is what steps I should be taking with W3 before upgrading WordPress? Should I be deactivating the plugin entirely, or turning off all the features, or purging all caches before upgrading?

I am new with WordPress; I have configured my VPS and installed MySQL + Php Admin + WordPress on it.
I have two problems:

1) I cannot update WordPress to 6.0.1 and I receive this error:

2) I have installed Listeo them, but I can not install WooCommerce plugin and always receive this error:

After updating to WordPress 5.9.3 I get this error on my admin panel:

“This site is not working”
hovedstadenssportsklinik.dk redirected you too many times.
Try to clear cache
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I can still see the front end of the website. But can’t access any admin panel sites.

I’ve already tried to…
– Restore my website from before updating and updating again (same error)
– Followed through on the guide “How to fix error too many redirects” https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-error-too-many-redirects-issue-in-wordpress/
– Cleared my browser cache
– Disabled all plugins
– Deleting .htaccess
– Added this code to my function.php file

Have any of you experienced this and do you have any idea on how to fix this?

after updating my WordPress Version to the newest one, my website doesnt work anymore.
I also cant log in to the admin panel. There comes the same issue.

I installed a BackUp Plugin, but after uploading the file with SQLAdmin, there comes again the same error message.

I am actually pretty sure i did the backup BEFORE updating wordpress so I have absolutely no idea how I can fix it now with a broken backup file.

I would just like to get some advice in relation to patching a WordPress Woocommerce website. I will soon be launching a site for a client that will generate quite a lot of traffic, in the region of 5k – 10k hits per week, with potentially a lot of transactions through the site.

I would like to get some advice in relation to to best practice around patching the Woocommerce website. I will be hosting the website on WPEngine and there I have three environments (Dev, Staging and Production).

When the website is live all the plugins and WordPress core files and theme files will be up to date. However after a few weeks it is inevitable that plugins, theme and the WordPress core files will need to be updated.

Is the best practice here to put a notice on the site saying that a website will be down for a period of 1 to 2 hours. I then take a backup of the production environment and then push it down to the development environment, make the updates, push to staging, test the updates to make sure everything is working and then push back up into the live environment?

I would appreciate any advice in relation to this. Is there any possibility of avoiding downtime?

I got someone to develop a site for me. It’s not a premium theme. Recently, I saw the notice to Update WordPress.

If I update to have the most recent version of WordPress, would that destroy any customization in my site?

If yes, how or what should I do to update and still have the customization, so that my site works as it should? Thanks.
